Uterine contraction pressure 40

Uterine contraction pressure 40

The due date is only accompanied by painful uterine contractions, which is a precursor to delivery. Uterine contractions are a type of contraction of the uterine muscles, which may occur about ten times per hour. You should go for a check-up at this time, because false uterine contractions may occur 1 to 2 times per hour or once every few hours. We will also be asked to test the uterine contraction pressure one month after the contractions occur. How should we understand some related knowledge about uterine contractions?

How much uterine contraction pressure should be reached to give birth

Uterine contractions are uterine contractions, which include two types: false contractions and true contractions.

False labor, also called prolonged labor, is an occasional uterine contraction. Its characteristics are that its occurrence is irregular, non-periodic, and its degree varies from time to time. False labor begins around 6 weeks of pregnancy, but the expectant mother will not begin to feel it until the second half of pregnancy. The last few months of pregnancy are characterized by irregular uterine contractions, especially in the last few weeks. After the fetal movement, just put your hands on your abdomen and you will feel your abdomen hardening from time to time. A gynecologist at Peking Union Medical College Hospital said that frequently touching the belly in the late pregnancy can cause false labor and lead to premature birth.

True uterine contractions start out irregular and weak, then gradually become regular, increasingly stronger, longer lasting, and shorter intervals, such as an interval of 2-3 minutes and a duration of 50-60 seconds. True uterine contractions are an important feature of labor.

How to distinguish false labor from real labor contractions?

In the days or weeks before delivery, false labor contractions may become regular, more frequent, and even painful at times, sometimes causing expectant mothers to mistakenly believe they are about to go into labor. But unlike real labor, contractions do not continue to get longer, more intense, and more frequent during this period, called "false labor."

Symptoms of contractions

A few weeks before delivery, the uterine muscles are more sensitive and irregular uterine contractions will occur, which are symptoms of uterine contractions. The contractions are short-lived, weak, or limited to the lower part of the uterus. It stops after several hours and cannot cause the cervix to open, so it is not labor and is called false labor. The contractions of the uterus during labor are regular.

Initially, the interval is about 10 minutes, and pregnant women feel abdominal pain, and then the duration of the pain gradually increases to 40 seconds to 60 seconds. The severity increases and the interval shortens to about 3-5 minutes. When the uterus contracts and abdominal pain occurs, the lower abdomen may feel hard.

When you're just a few weeks away from your due date, false labor contractions may become stronger, more frequent, and uncomfortable. False labor in the last stage of pregnancy is different from the painless and occasional false labor in the first trimester. False labor in early pregnancy does not cause any changes in the cervix. The uterine contraction at this time may help the expectant mother's cervix become "mature": the cervix gradually becomes softer and thinner. It may even cause your cervix to start opening slightly. This period sometimes indicates the onset of pre-labor.
