Causes of Candida infection in women

Causes of Candida infection in women

Many bacteria in nature can cause certain harm to the human body. Among them, Candida albicans can exist in large quantities in the human body, causing related inflammation. For example, stomatitis, vaginitis, and gastroenteritis may all be related to Candida infection. Many women do not pay attention to vaginal hygiene, which leads to Candida infection and vaginitis. If you want to treat vaginitis caused by Candida albicans, you should understand the causes of this condition.

In medicine, fungal vaginitis is called Candida infection. Candida albicans is a fungus. This condition usually occurs in the mouth, intestines, and vagina of normal people. Generally, the number of such bacteria in a normal body is relatively small and does not cause disease. However, if the body's immunity or general defense is reduced or the mutual restraint of normal flora is disturbed, such bacteria will multiply in large numbers and cause the disease to occur.

Candida infection in women may be caused by indirect contact transmission. Contact with toilet seats, bathtub seats, towels used by Candida infected people, improper use of sanitary napkins, etc. can lead to the spread of the disease. During pregnancy and diabetes, vaginal Candida may multiply in large numbers, which greatly increases the rate of bacteria.

Sexual intercourse is also one of the main reasons for the emergence of candida infection. If the woman is infected with Candida albicans, the disease can be transmitted to her spouse through sexual intercourse, so the couple should treat the disease at the same time to avoid cross-infection. We can also avoid taking large amounts of antibiotics. Taking antibiotics changes the vaginal microenvironment, allowing pathogenic bacterial pathogens to multiply, ultimately leading to repeated attacks of local candidal vaginitis.

This is the specific cause of Candida infection in women. If a woman is infected with Candida, she should seek treatment as soon as possible. After all, early-stage treatment of Candida infection will be more effective. At the same time, you should also be careful not to buy drugs privately to treat the disease, so as to avoid Candida becoming resistant, which will make it more difficult to treat the disease in the later stages.
