Breast cysts are not serious

For women, physical health is very important, but the factors that affect women's physical health mainly include gynecological diseases and breast diseases. Breast cyst is a very common disease. After the cyst occurs, it looks like a tumor in the breast, so it should not be ignored and must be examined and treated in time. Is breast cyst serious?

Are breast cysts serious?

In fact, many women don’t know much about breast cysts. I have always believed that it is a very serious disease and I feel uneasy all day long. In fact, although breast cysts have a high incidence rate, they are not difficult to treat.

Breast cyst is a benign lesion caused by poor breast structure, inflammation, and tumor compression. When the epithelium of the mammary lobe or lobule duct falls off or other substances block the duct, milk cannot be discharged smoothly and stagnates in the duct, causing the duct to expand and form a cyst.

Breast cysts are generally more common, especially before menstruation. If there are no symptoms, clinical observation is allowed without special treatment and regular check-ups. If there is pain or discomfort, some Chinese patent medicines that can soften and disperse the nodules should be taken. As for the lump in the left breast, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a mammography examination, which is an X-ray of the breast.

Common breast cysts include simple cysts and milk cysts. Simple cysts are the most common breast cysts. The X-ray manifestation of a simple cyst is a round or oval dense shadow with smooth edges and uniform density. A "translucent halo" often appears around the cyst wall because the cyst squeezes the surrounding fat tissue. The density of the cyst is similar to or slightly denser than that of the breast gland.

Single cysts are usually round; multiple cysts are usually oval, and are more common on both sides. Galactocele, also known as milk retention cyst, is less common than simple cyst. It is mainly caused by blockage of a duct during lactation, which causes milk stasis and forms a cyst. The X-ray appearance of milk cyst is a round or oval translucent area with a diameter of about 1 to 2 cm, and occasionally larger than 3 cm. The cyst density is the same as the fat density. The cyst can be seen in any part of the breast, and it is most common to occur deep in the breast.

What to do with breast cysts?

Breast cysts are generally benign breast lesions. If the cyst is relatively small, it will not affect the quality of life. If the cyst is relatively large, it will easily rupture, causing the fluid in the cyst to flow out and cause pain and discomfort. In other words, if the cyst is relatively small, it can be left untreated, but if the cyst is relatively large, it needs surgical removal.

How to prevent breast cysts?

1. Pay attention to maintaining a regular life, balance work and rest, exercise more, and prevent obesity. Enhance the body's immunity. A regular lifestyle can regulate endocrine disorders, and maintaining smooth bowel movements can alleviate breast pain. Do not use health supplements containing hormones for a long time.

2. Emotional reasons can easily cause breast cysts, so you must pay attention to it in your daily life, keep a happy mood, avoid mood swings, and never have long-term mental depression, especially in the early stages of menstruation.

3. To prevent breast cysts, you should also pay more attention to your diet. Patients with breast cysts should change their diet, eat less oily foods, prevent obesity, try to avoid using drugs containing estrogen, prohibit the abuse of contraceptives and beauty products containing estrogen, and do not eat chicken and beef fed with estrogen.
