Can pregnant women ask about floral water?

Pregnant women's bodies will undergo great changes in the early stages of pregnancy, and they cannot smell certain smells often. Some pregnant women experience very severe pregnancy reactions in the early stages of pregnancy, such as frequent symptoms of nausea, confusion, vomiting, and physical fatigue, so they should pay attention to proper rest. Floral water is a familiar and fragrant perfume. So can pregnant women use floral water?

Pregnant women should not smell floral water.

We all know that floral water has a faint fragrance, and many women love the scent of floral water. Maybe most pregnant women know that they cannot use toilet water, but they still cannot resist smelling its fragrance, thinking: If I can’t use it, it should be okay to smell it. Actually, it’s not.

Although toilet water is a volatile gas, generally speaking, if there is no skin contact, inhaling a small amount will not cause any harm to pregnant women and fetuses. Therefore, occasionally smelling its fragrance will not have much impact. However, if a pregnant woman smells floral water for a long time, it cannot be ruled out that it may affect the fetus.

Floral water is a perfume product made with floral oil as the main fragrance and alcohol. The fragrance used to make floral water is basically based on fragrant lavender oil, but rose and musk types are also used. The essence used in toilet water is slightly inferior and the content is also lower, generally 1% to 3%, so the fragrance is not as long-lasting as other alcohol solution perfumes. In order to prevent precipitation, a small amount of chelating agents, antioxidants and sun-fast alcohol-soluble pigments can be added.

Floral water contains musk, and most women who have watched harem dramas know that musk can cause miscarriage in pregnant women. The reason why pregnant women cannot use floral water is that it contains musk, which can cause fetal disturbance and is not conducive to fetal stability. Therefore, it is generally not recommended for pregnant women to inhale too much floral water to avoid some adverse consequences.
