How long does it take to remove the ring without bleeding?

The IUD is a relatively convenient method of contraception. This method mainly involves placing a contraceptive device inside the female uterus. This can achieve effective contraceptive effects, and the contraceptive success rate of the IUD is also very high. Another advantage of the IUD is that when a woman wants to get pregnant, she can take out the contraceptive device inside the uterus. After the removal, women's vagina will experience irregular bleeding. How many days will it take for the bleeding to stop?

How many days of bleeding is normal after the IUD is removed?

Many people choose to have an IUD inserted for contraception, and then remove it when they want to get pregnant. Vaginal bleeding is normal regardless of whether the IUD is inserted or removed. Bleeding is normal within a week after removing the IUD.

Because the metal stimulates the endometrium and cervix during IUD insertion, a small amount of vaginal bleeding or bloody leucorrhea is certain. However, the duration of bleeding varies from person to person, because everyone's physique and coagulation function are different, and the time of ring removal and the position of the ring are also influencing factors. Therefore, some women stop bleeding after two or three days, but some women still bleed after seven or eight days.

Generally speaking, women should go to the hospital for examination after seven or eight days of continuous bleeding, mainly to rule out whether the endometrium is damaged or infected. If not eliminated in time, it may cause a series of gynecological diseases.

If a woman's bleeding volume increases and exceeds the amount of menstruation, and is accompanied by abdominal pain and back pain, she should go to the hospital immediately.

The best time to remove the ring

Generally speaking, the best time to remove the IUD is within 3 to 7 days after the menstruation ends. Removing the IUD during this period can effectively reduce bleeding.

If the IUD is removed in the middle or late period, it will affect the health of women, and the amount of bleeding cannot be judged correctly. Vaginal bleeding also needs to take into account bleeding during ovulation, and heavy bleeding may occur. In serious cases, you can ask a doctor for symptomatic treatment with oral amoxicillin and Anloxicillin, or go directly to a gynecologist for treatment.

Precautions after removing the ring

1. On the day after the IUD is removed and the day after, clean your vagina and keep it warm, then lie in bed and have a good rest.

2. Sexual intercourse is strictly prohibited within two weeks after the removal of the IUD to avoid infection of the endometrial wound.

3. You cannot take a bath or soak in a tub within half a month after the IUD is removed to prevent infection.

4. You cannot get pregnant within a short period of time after the IUD is removed. Even if you succeed in getting pregnant, it is not a good thing because the health of both the woman and the fetus will be seriously affected. A woman must wait at least 2 to 3 normal menstrual cycles before she can conceive.

5. If there is a lot of vaginal bleeding after the IUD is removed, you can replenish blood through food supplements. For example, pork liver, black beans, hair algae, carrots, gluten, spinach, day lily, longan meat, etc. are all good foods for blood supplement.
