How long after childbirth is it good to do pelvic floor exercises?

As the saying goes, nine out of ten men have hemorrhoids, and ten out of ten women have hemorrhoids. This means that the most common disease left by women during childbirth is hemorrhoids. Most women will be deeply troubled by hemorrhoids during the confinement period. Therefore, women must do levator ani exercises after childbirth, which can effectively achieve the purpose of vaginal tightening and avoiding hemorrhoids. However, women must also do it according to their own physical ability. So how long after childbirth is it better to do levator ani exercises?

How to do ani-lift exercise:

1. Resting method: Lie on the bed with your hips high and your head low (that is, put clothes or quilts below the waist to make your hips higher than your head, at an angle of 30 to 45 degrees). When inhaling, consciously contract the levator ani muscles (at the anus). Do this for 15 to 30 minutes. This method is suitable for people with lumbar muscle injuries, poor waist strength, and weak legs and feet.

2. Exercise method: Lie flat on the bed, put your lower limbs together, put your feet on the bed, support your waist and hips and then put them down. Continue this movement for 5 to 15 minutes. Second note: It is best to do pelvic floor exercises when you are resting; try not to eat spicy and hard foods.

Postpartum anal lifting exercises help to strengthen the contraction of the vagina, anal sphincter and pelvic floor muscles. They can be done two to three times a day after delivery, with each exercise lasting fifteen minutes. Specific method: take a deep breath, tighten the anus for ten to fifteen seconds, then exhale deeply, relax the anus, and repeat.

After childbirth, women do ani-lifting exercises mainly to improve local blood circulation, improve anal sphincter function, and prevent anal relaxation. They are very effective in preventing and treating hemorrhoids and rectal prolapse.

This can help increase the tension of the pelvic muscles and is also helpful for the contraction of the vagina. In addition, you can sign up for a postpartum yoga class in your local area, which is also very helpful for helping you recover your figure and other aspects after childbirth.
