Three months pregnant with a little spotting

Three months pregnant with a little spotting

The three months of pregnancy are actually not a stabilizer. There is no stable period during pregnancy because the stability of the fetus's development is related to many factors. If a pregnant mother experiences spotting during the three months of pregnancy, she must seek medical attention promptly. The amount of bleeding and pulse need to be tested to draw a more accurate conclusion.

Is bleeding normal during 3 months of pregnancy?

The doctor will first assess the amount of bleeding and measure blood pressure and pulse to determine whether immediate hospitalization is needed. The patient will then be asked some relevant information, such as the date of the last menstrual period, whether the menstrual period is regular, whether she has ever experienced morning sickness and breast tenderness and whether these symptoms still exist, and whether she has symptoms of lower abdominal pain. Then further physical examination will be carried out and a preliminary judgment will be made. If necessary, an ultrasound examination and blood test for serum levels of "beta-human chorionic gonadotropin" (abbreviated as chorionic hormone) or progesterone will be arranged to help diagnose whether it is a normal intrauterine pregnancy, spontaneous abortion, ectopic pregnancy or hydatidiform mole. Regarding the examination of chorionic villus, it is usually more valuable to compare the values of two blood draws 48 hours apart. In patients with normal intrauterine pregnancy, the second value will usually be more than 66% higher than the first. If the increase is not enough or there is a decrease, it may be an ectopic pregnancy or incomplete abortion. At this time, uterine dilatation and curettage or laparoscopy should be arranged for further diagnosis.

What are the symptoms of bleeding in the third trimester of pregnancy

The main symptom of bleeding in early pregnancy is a small amount of bloody vaginal discharge, similar to the amount of bleeding at the beginning or end of menstruation. The bleeding may be pink, red, or brown in color. Symptoms of pregnancy bleeding can be divided into two main categories:

1. Bleeding pattern. If the blood is brown, expectant mothers do not need to worry too much. Brown blood means that the bleeding has stopped, so it will oxidize into brown. Just get more rest and avoid exercise. If the blood is bright red, you should pay attention.

2. Pain. Most expectant mothers who suspect they have had early miscarriage will experience back pain and lower abdominal pain similar to menstruation. Most mothers with ectopic pregnancies will experience severe abdominal pain, pale complexion, rapid heartbeat, and intra-abdominal bleeding.
