Vulvar itching and blood

Vulvar itching and blood

If there is vulvar itching and bleeding, you should be most vigilant about some gynecological diseases, such as Trichomonas vaginitis, or candidal vaginitis, etc., which can easily lead to such a situation. At this time, it is easy to cause contact bleeding, that is, it is easy to cause bleeding after sexual intercourse, etc. At this time, you must go to the hospital for examination in time and receive good treatment in time.

Vulvar itching and blood

1. Infectious diseases: Trichomonas vaginitis and candidal vaginitis cause excessive vaginal discharge, which can irritate the vulva and cause itching.

2. Local lesions of the vulva: Vulvar skin diseases such as vulvar eczema, neurodermatitis, chronic vulvar malnutrition, vulvar tumors, etc. can cause vulvar itching.

3. Bad hygiene habits: If you do not pay attention to cleaning the vulva, vaginal secretions or menstrual blood will accumulate in the vulva, causing itching. On the contrary, washing the vulva several times a day, or frequently using strong alkaline soaps, or washing the vulva with potassium permanganate water will make the vulva skin too dry and cause itching.

4. Inappropriate clothing: For example, if you like to wear synthetic clothes or use menstrual belts made of rubber or plastic, it will cause poor ventilation of the vulva skin, causing itching due to sweat stains.

5. Stimulation by sensitive substances: Allergy to systemic or local medications on the vulva causes vulvar itching.

6. Menstrual factors: As menstrual blood flows through the vagina, it disturbs the normal acidity and alkalinity of the vagina. Hidden pathogens may induce infection and cause vulvar itching.

7. Congestion of the vulva during pregnancy: Sometimes there is varicose veins, which can cause vulvar itching and discomfort; increased cervical and vaginal secretions during pregnancy are also one of the reasons.

8. Women who sit in the office for a long time and do not move often are very likely to suffer from symptoms of vulva itching. Sitting in a chair for a long time without moving will make the vulva stuffy. Among them, non-breathable underwear does not absorb sweat, which will make the vulva too moist for a long time and can also cause vulva itching.

How to deal with female vulvar itching

(1) For vulvar pain and itching caused by Trichomonas, take metronidazole orally under the guidance of a physician, and insert dichlorvos tablets or metronidazole tablets into the vagina at the same time. The effect will be better if combined with vaginal douching. Married persons must examine their male spouse and receive treatment at the same time.

(2) For vulvar pain and itching caused by fungi, flush the vagina with 2% to 4% soda water under the guidance of a doctor once a night, and insert a tablet of Kemeinuan into the vagina at the same time. Ten times is a course of treatment. You can also apply gentian violet or ice boron paste intravaginally.

(3) Eliminate human causes, pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva, wear cotton underwear that is not too tight, avoid using alkaline soaps, and minimize mechanical stimulation to the vulva.

(4) For vulvar pain and itching that cannot be diagnosed at the moment, 3% boric acid or 1% to 2% raclonidine solution can be used for wet compresses, 40% zinc oxide oil, calamine lotion and 2% diphenhydramine ointment can be used locally. If necessary, chlorpheniramine can be taken orally, but hormones, iodine, alcohol and the like should not be used.

(5) Avoid mental stress and do not cover yourself too thickly when sleeping, which can reduce the pain and itching.

(6) Avoid smoking, drinking, coffee, and eating spicy foods.
