Hot belly during early pregnancy

Hot belly during early pregnancy

Most pregnant women cannot feel the presence of the baby when they are just pregnant, and can only confirm their pregnancy through relevant medical tests. Because the physical symptoms of pregnant women in the early stages of pregnancy are not particularly obvious, at the same time, it is also common for pregnant women to have various abnormal conditions in their bodies in the early stages of pregnancy. If a pregnant woman finds her belly is hot in the early stages of pregnancy, is this normal?

Is it normal to have a hot belly during early pregnancy?

There will be many uncomfortable symptoms in the early stages of pregnancy. It is normal to have a hot belly in the early stages of pregnancy. After 3 months, the abdomen will return to normal.

In early pregnancy, the most obvious symptom is the cessation of menstruation. In addition, pregnant women may experience symptoms such as breast enlargement, frequent urination, mild vaginal bleeding, and may also experience nausea, headache, dizziness, and emotional instability. If you find the above symptoms, you should take an early pregnancy test in time because you are very likely pregnant.

1. Stopping of menstruation

If a couple has sexual intercourse around the ovulation period without taking any contraceptive measures, and their menstrual cycles are normal, but they suddenly experience amenorrhea symptoms for more than 5 days, they may be pregnant.

2. Nausea and vomiting

Many pregnant women will experience morning sickness starting around the 5th week of pregnancy. Nausea may occur especially in the morning and evening, and vomiting may occur without any reason. The cause of morning sickness is currently unknown, but data suggest that it may be related to human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in the human body. When you first become pregnant, the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in your body begins to increase. The higher the level of this hormone, the more likely you are to feel nauseous.

What is the normal body temperature in early pregnancy?

Generally speaking, the normal human body temperature is 36-37℃ (measured under the armpit). The body temperature of pregnant women will rise in the early stages of pregnancy, but after the second trimester (13 weeks of pregnancy), the body temperature will return to its original normal state.

In the early stages of pregnancy, the pregnant woman's body temperature is between 36.9℃-37.2℃. If this high temperature period lasts for more than 21 days and there are no other abnormal reactions, no menstruation, and even early pregnancy reactions, it can generally be considered a sign of pregnancy. If the body temperature fluctuates, it should be taken seriously, especially for patients with habitual miscarriage, who should take timely measures.

After a woman becomes pregnant, her luteinizing hormone rises. Generally, the basal body temperature of women in the follicular phase is 36.5°C, and the body temperature will rise by more than 0.5°C during the luteal phase. It is a normal physiological phenomenon for pregnant women to have an increased body temperature in the early stages of pregnancy. Pregnant women can pay attention to changes in their body temperature and use this to preliminarily infer that they are pregnant. If they find abnormal changes in body temperature, they need to go to the hospital for examination in time to rule out potential diseases.
