Is intrauterine instillation painful?

Intrauterine infusion is an unapproved method of assisted reproduction. It is very similar to the IVF we usually come into contact with, but the cost of intrauterine infusion is relatively expensive, and it will also make women feel pain during the infusion process, and there will be many sequelae after intrauterine infusion. Generally, a hysterosalpingography is required before the infusion. So is intrauterine infusion painful?

As for which one is more painful, namely, tubal insufflation, salpingography, or intrauterine infusion, it needs to be judged based on whether the fallopian tube is blocked and how serious the blockage is. If the fallopian tube is blocked and not patency is good, then the angiography and fluid perfusion will be painful. If it is just a check, there will be no pain! Intrauterine perfusion is to inject the drug with the help of a transplant tube, so it will not be painful. It should feel the same as a test tube transplant.

If you want to understand the difference between intrauterine perfusion, salpingography, and tubal hydrotubation during hysterosalpingography, we must first understand their symptoms and costs. Through "benign" comparisons, patients can rationally choose the one that suits them best.

For symptoms

Intrauterine perfusion: The drug is determined based on the patient's physical condition, and then delivered into the uterine cavity (under sterile conditions) through a transplant tube. With the help of intrauterine perfusion, the patient's thin endometrium, poor endometrial receptivity, abnormal endometrial function or repeated IVF failure can be effectively improved.

Hysterosalpingography: Materials with higher density than body organs are taken in the space inside or around organs (uterine cavity) to provide radiographic images for medical diagnosis. The main indications include auxiliary examination for infertility, reproductive organ malformations, uterine fibroids, chronic inflammation of body bones and organs, etc.

Fallopian tube patency test

Tubal insufflation: physiological saline solution is injected into the uterine cavity from the cervix (or methylene blue solution). The difference from hysterosalpingography is that the insufflation determines whether the fallopian tube is normal based on the magnitude of the injected drug. The fallopian tube can also be restored to patency by increasing a certain pressure! Such as checking the effect of sterilization surgery, recurrent fallopian tube blockage and other problems.

Intrauterine infusion: The cost of a single intrauterine infusion is about 150, and because of its special nature, 5 intrauterine infusions are required within one week after the menstruation is over. However, the main price depends on the drugs used and in which hospital it is performed.
