7 months pregnant, pain in the lower part when walking

At seven months of pregnancy, the belly is already very big and the uterus begins to gradually drop down, so the number of times pregnant women go to the toilet will increase significantly and the frequency will become very high. They will often feel the need to urinate and defecate from time to time. This is because the bladder and intestines are compressed. When walking, the uterus drops down and they will also feel pain in the lower body. Some of the pain is edema, and some is inflammation caused by compression.

1. What causes lower body pain in pregnant women?

Pregnancy is the most important thing in a woman's life. The physical condition during pregnancy is particularly important and directly related to the health of the fetus. Many women will experience lower body pain during pregnancy. Some are so severe that they will feel pain even when turning over or coughing. This situation also makes many women particularly worried, fearing that it will affect the fetus. What causes lower body pain in pregnant women?

There are two pubic bones on the left and right, which together form the front edge of the pelvis. The pubic bones are connected by fibrous cartilage and reinforced by ligaments, so they are not easy to move under normal circumstances. Due to the influence of hormones after pregnancy, the two pubic bones separate slightly, allowing the fetus to be delivered smoothly in the future. However, if the pubic separation is large, it will cause pulling pain when walking, especially when walking upstairs.

Because the hind legs touch the ground when going upstairs, the body's center of gravity shifts to one side, the left and right pubic bones are misaligned, pulling on the fibrous cartilage and ligaments, causing pain. If the separation is severe, the ligaments are torn and edematous, and the person will not be able to walk. Although the pubic symphysis separates to some extent after pregnancy, only a few women experience pain. Moreover, the pain is mild and tolerable and does not affect work and life.

However, pregnant women still need to avoid heavy physical labor and not walk for long periods of time. If the pain is severe, bed rest is required. The best sleeping position is lying on the left side.

Generally speaking, if the condition is mild and the fetus is not large, it will not affect delivery. If the condition is serious and the fetus is too large, a caesarean section should be performed. After the fetus is delivered, the estrogen level drops, the pubic symphysis gradually closes and returns to its original state, and the pain disappears. However, during maternity leave, you should walk less and lie down more, and avoid doing heavy physical labor.

2. What are the precautions for pregnant women's diet

As a special group, pregnant women should not only pay attention to strengthening nutrition and eating nutritious foods in moderation, but also pay great attention to dietary structure, dietary cooking, dietary hygiene and food selection.

During pregnancy, the baby's organs continue to develop and need adequate nutrition. If you do not pay attention to balanced nutrition during pregnancy, not only will the fetus grow sluggishly and be underdeveloped, but the mother will also be weaker after delivery. Increasing nutrition does not mean eating more, but paying attention to balanced nutrition in food.

1. Avoid long-term high-fat diet

During pregnancy, pregnant women need to increase their fat intake appropriately, but if pregnant women eat a high-fat diet for a long time, it will inevitably increase the risk of the fetus developing reproductive system cancer. Eating high-fat foods for a long time will increase the concentration of bile acid and neutral cholesterol in the large intestine. At the same time, high-fat foods can increase the synthesis of prolactin, promote the occurrence of breast cancer, and are not conducive to the health of mother and baby.

2. Avoid excessive intake of high protein

Medical research shows that insufficient protein supply can easily lead to physical weakness in pregnant women, slow fetal growth, delayed recovery after delivery, and scarce milk secretion. Therefore, pregnant women's daily protein requirement should reach 90-100 grams. However, a long-term high-protein diet during pregnancy will affect the appetite of pregnant women, increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract, and easily cause abdominal distension, loss of appetite, dizziness, fatigue and other phenomena.
