Intrauterine adhesion is a common gynecological disease. This disease can easily cause infertility, so women of childbearing age who suffer from this disease should take good treatment and prevention. There are many causes of intrauterine adhesions, such as chronic inflammation of the uterus, as well as abortion surgery, uterine polyp surgery, etc., which can easily cause the occurrence of this disease. Let’s take a closer look at how to prevent uterine adhesions again.

The female uterine cavity is a very small cavity that can hold approximately 5 ml of material. Under normal circumstances, the inner wall of the uterine cavity is surrounded by a layer of endometrium, which will shed and grow periodically with the menstrual cycle. However, it is precisely because of the growth and shedding of this layer of endometrium that it is extremely easy for women to develop uterine cavity adhesions. So, is there a better way to prevent uterine adhesions?

Based on existing research results, it is currently believed that the following factors are likely to cause uterine adhesions: one is caused by inflammation. Inflammation in the uterine cavity can be divided into pathogenic and instrumental types. Pathogenic inflammation is mainly caused by bacterial infection. Usually, the bacteria enter the uterine cavity from the vagina, then retrograde into the pelvic cavity, and finally trigger an inflammatory response in the entire reproductive system. The external manifestation is that there is a problem with the leucorrhea, such as the color becoming yellowish, the odor becoming unpleasant, the amount becoming increased, etc.

The other is instrumental. For women who have repeated abortions, endometrial damage is very likely to occur. This damage is irreversible, especially when the gestational sac is forcibly removed from the uterine cavity, which will injure the endometrial layer and myometrium, causing irreparable damage to the uterus and finally causing extensive adhesions in the uterine cavity. The second is a congenital problem. For example, because the uterine cavity is congenitally deformed, waste cannot be discharged in time after endometrial exfoliation. This will cause excessive waste to accumulate in the uterine cavity. Some active endometrium can retrograde into the pelvic cavity, eventually causing extensive adhesions between the uterine cavity and the pelvic cavity.
