Vulvar itching and bleeding

The genitals are a very important part of women. As a private part of the human body, we must pay attention to the hygiene of the genitals. Many women often feel genital itching, and vulvar itching causes great trouble to people's lives. Such a situation is related to many factors, so we must pay attention to it and take timely treatment measures. So what is the cause of vulvar itching and bleeding?

1. Genital warts

It is caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, which is mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse and mostly occurs in young women aged 18 to 50. The lesions initially appear as small, light red papules, which gradually increase in size and number, and are distributed singly or in clusters. It is moist and soft, with an uneven surface, nipple-like, cockscomb-like or cauliflower-like protrusions, and is red or dirty gray. The roots often have pedicles and are prone to erosion and exudation, and bleed easily when touched. Purulent secretions often accumulate between the cracks of the skin lesions, causing a foul odor, and secondary infection may occur due to scratching.

2. Vaginitis

Vaginal candidiasis and Trichomonas vaginitis are the most common causes of vulvar itching. The symptoms of candidal vaginitis include redness, swelling, itching, shallow ulceration of the vulvar mucosa, and thick leucorrhea resembling tofu dregs. The vaginal mucosa of Trichomonas vaginitis is bright red, covered with patchy pseudomembranes, often accompanied by foamy secretions, and patients feel varying degrees of itching, and a few have a burning sensation. Leucorrhea increases and turns yellow-green. Notice! If you have vulvar itching and bumps, you should see a doctor as soon as possible to avoid missing the best time for treatment.

3. Note

Vulvar itching and bleeding is generally considered to be caused by Trichomonas vaginitis. Because the symptoms of Trichomonas vaginitis are increased thin, foamy vaginal discharge and vulvar itching, which may be accompanied by burning, pain and dyspareunia. If accompanied by urinary tract infection, there will be frequent urination, urgency, pain and hematuria. At the same time, the vaginal mucosa is congested, and in severe cases there are scattered bleeding spots, so it is generally considered to be caused by Trichomonas vaginitis. At the same time, metronidazole can be taken orally, and the vagina can be flushed with 1%-5% acetic acid solution, metronidazole effervescent tablets can be placed in the vagina, and the vulva should be kept clean and dry. Sexual intercourse is prohibited during treatment.
