Why is the vaginal discharge yellow and bloody?

There are many clinical methods that can detect whether there is a problem with your body. Many women will test their leucorrhea first when they go to check for gynecological diseases. The normal color of leucorrhea is white, but some women have abnormal leucorrhea. These can be distinguished by the color and properties of the leucorrhea, so it still needs to be taken seriously. So what's the matter with yellow vaginal discharge and blood?

1. If the leucorrhea is very yellow, sticky and contains blood, a gynecological examination is required. First, we need to check whether the patient has any problems with the cervix. If there are no problems with the cervix, we can do a routine gynecological B-ultrasound to check whether there are other problems, such as uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and vaginitis. If there is no abnormality after the examination, it may be caused by ovarian dysfunction, and the patient can be given medication.

2. Yellow vaginal discharge with blood is a symptom of cervical erosion, but it does not rule out other gynecological diseases. You should be vigilant and go to the hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible. Increased yellow vaginal discharge is a common symptom of cervical erosion. It is usually thick mucus or purulent mucus. Sometimes the secretions may contain blood or a small amount of blood, and there may also be contact bleeding.

3. Cervical erosion can be divided into mild, moderate and severe according to its disease process. Its symptoms are not obvious. Most patients only have abnormal leucorrhea and vaginal bleeding, so cervical erosion is easily ignored by women. But it must be said that cervical erosion is extremely harmful to women's bodies. Long-term cervical erosion will lead to an increase in viscous and purulent secretions of the cervix, which can easily cause cervical adhesions, hinder the passage of sperm, and may cause female infertility. Moreover, the distance between the cervix and the uterine cavity is very close. Severe cervical erosion can spread to the entire uterine cavity, causing more difficult gynecological diseases such as endometritis and pelvic inflammatory disease.
