Brown discharge during pregnancy

Brown discharge during pregnancy

Brown discharge during pregnancy is the main symptom of threatened abortion and requires medication to treat the fetus. You can take dydrogesterone tablets 10mg.bid or progesterone capsules 100mg.bid plus one vitamin E capsule per day. During the period of fetal treatment, you need to pay attention to rest, avoid excessive exercise, strictly refrain from sexual intercourse, eat more green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits to maintain smooth bowel movements, and take folic acid tablets until the 12th week of pregnancy. If you experience increased bleeding or abdominal pain during the fetal treatment period, please seek medical attention immediately. If there is no brown discharge, you can still get pregnant again.

If you have brown discharge during pregnancy, you should consider whether it is a threatened miscarriage. Threatened miscarriage is caused by a low level of progesterone in the female body, coupled with fatigue and exhaustion, which will cause such symptoms. In addition, if it is an ectopic pregnancy, such a situation will also occur. Because ectopic pregnancy is the combination of sperm and egg outside the uterus, the embryo implants and grows. The uterine wall will also undergo decidua-like changes, causing a small amount of vaginal bleeding. It may also be that the embryo development process is not good, and some children will experience miscarriage. Therefore, in clinical medicine, if you are pregnant and have this kind of symptoms, you should go to the hospital for a B-ultrasound examination in time.

There are several reasons for brown discharge during pregnancy: 1. Factors related to the pregnancy may be threatened abortion. At this stage, vaginal bleeding is less and abdominal pain is mild. 2. Ectopic pregnancy. When an ectopic pregnancy occurs, vaginal bleeding occurs about 40 days after menstruation, often accompanied by dull pain, distension, and heaviness in the lower abdomen. 3. The time of pregnancy bleeding in hydatidiform mole is later than that in miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy, and usually occurs around 3 months of pregnancy.

These three conditions require immediate hospital examination. The appearance of brown discharge may also be caused by pregnancy factors. For example, women with vaginitis, cervical erosion, cervical cysts, uterine wall diseases, tumors, etc. may have brown discharge. If accompanied by vulvar itching, you should go to the hospital for a routine examination of leucorrhea to prevent the occurrence of vaginitis. You need to seek medical treatment in time to avoid further infection. In general, no matter what the cause is, you must go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment immediately, and do not delay the condition.
