Folliculitis of the nipple

Folliculitis of the nipple

Nipple folliculitis is a common gynecological disease. It is mainly caused by bacterial infection of the hair follicles at the nipple, which leads to inflammation. It generally manifests as redness and swelling. Such patients cannot smoke, drink alcohol, or eat spicy food. They can adopt physical therapy methods such as hot compress, which can promote blood flow and accelerate the recovery of the disease, and use some anti-inflammatory drugs at the same time. Here is some information about folliculitis:

The disease of breast folliculitis is mostly caused by some lifestyle habits. In particular, many patients have bad eating habits, which are particularly irregular. They often drink alcohol and like to eat some spicy and irritating foods. This can lead to the occurrence of breast folliculitis. The most taboo thing for patients with breast folliculitis is drinking alcohol and eating irritating and spicy foods. When patients eat these foods, it is easy for some pathogens to infect the breast follicles, causing small pustules to appear on the breast skin. These small pustules are breast folliculitis. It can also cause some redness around the breast skin and form scabs.

1. When breast folliculitis first occurs, patients will only develop a few small pustules on the skin. At this time, inflammation will occur around the breast skin, followed by the small pustules gradually drying up, then rupturing, and discharging a small amount of pus and blood. At this time, some of the scattered small pustules will gradually merge.

2. After breast folliculitis occurs, itching symptoms may also occur. At this time, the patient may scratch or rub the skin due to the itching, which may lead to the formation of secondary skin lesions. Therefore, after suffering from breast folliculitis, you must be careful not to scratch your skin due to itching. You can use local closed bandages or corticosteroids to prevent itching.

3. After breast folliculitis occurs, a needle-sized or mung bean-sized rash may appear on the breast skin. Some small yellow-white pustules will appear at the top of these rashes. At the same time, new folliculitis will appear around the folliculitis. This may be caused by Staphylococcus aureus infection.

Note:

Breast folliculitis is generally a chronic disease, and can be treated with a combination of topical and oral medications. For example, a commonly used drug may be erythromycin, which is an antibiotic and must be taken under the guidance of a doctor.
