What are the early menstrual symptoms?

Menstruation brings a lot of inconvenience to women's lives, so many women hate menstruation and think that menstruation should not come. Why were they born as women in this life? In fact, from a medical point of view, menstruation is very beneficial to women's health, especially in helping women expel waste from their bodies, including the shed endometrium. So, what are the early menstrual symptoms?

1. Premenstrual symptoms may include fatigue, general discomfort, sadness, drowsiness, and even crying or anger for no reason.

2. In severe cases, patients are unwilling to talk to their family members and friends, and are so lonely that they are bedridden. They often suffer from breast tenderness, abdominal distension, and constipation. Others gain weight and have edema 1 to 3 days before their period, especially swollen fingers in the morning and lower limbs in the afternoon.

3. Some people also have symptoms such as poor concentration, forgetfulness, difficulty in judgment, uneven movements, and headaches before menstruation.

The reasons for the occurrence of the above symptoms before menstruation are not clear yet, but it is generally believed that it is related to the rapid physical development of young girls, incomplete development of the nervous system, and endocrine imbalance. There are other aspects, such as vitamin deficiency, ovarian contamination, excessive fungal growth, can induce or aggravate the symptoms of early menstrual syndrome.

Experts suggest that premenstrual syndrome usually occurs 7 to 14 days before menstruation, is most severe 2 to 3 days before menstruation, and disappears or is significantly alleviated after menstruation. Discomfort is multifaceted and varies from person to person. Some women have more prominent edema, some women have more obvious breast pain, and some women mainly have mental symptoms. Sometimes, several symptoms coexist and therefore vary in severity.

Edema usually occurs one week before menstruation. Edema may also occur at other times and worsen before menstruation. Weight gain due to edema. Edema may also be accompanied by headache, runny nose, heaviness in the lower limbs, abdominal distension, constipation, etc. Breast pain can occur before or after menstruation. There are small nodules in the breasts, which are painful to touch. The pain is relieved after menstruation, but it reappears before the next menstruation.
