If a woman has a tumor in her uterus, she needs to undergo surgery to remove it. There are two methods of removal: circumcision and cone resection. The difference between these two methods is that one cuts a larger area, while the other cuts a smaller area. If a woman has not given birth yet, it is recommended to do cone biopsy, because circumcision is very harmful to the uterus and can easily affect pregnancy. So which of these two methods is better? The principle is basically the same. You can undergo cone biopsy, go to a regular hospital's gynecology department for examination, receive treatment under the doctor's guidance, pay attention to rest, avoid fatigue, and suspend sexual life. Cone biopsy causes relatively little damage. You should pay attention to rest, hygiene, change your underwear frequently, go to the hospital for regular checkups, and deal with any problems in a timely manner. There are two types of cervical excision: loop electrosurgical excision and cone biopsy. The latter causes less damage. Young people should try not to have circumcision to avoid affecting future pregnancy. The surgical methods and instruments used are different. Relatively speaking, loop electrosurgical excision surgery has the advantages of shorter time, less pain and fewer complications. Generally, those with smaller areas choose cone biopsy, which causes less damage. Cervical erosion is indeed physiological, but also pathological. Physiological cervical erosion is often mild and occurs more frequently in adolescent girls with high estrogen levels. If cervical erosion has no obvious symptoms, no treatment is required. However, if there is bleeding after sexual intercourse or pain during sexual intercourse, treatment should be given. Treatment methods include freezing, laser, cone biopsy, etc. The LEEP knife uses a high-frequency electric knife to destroy the columnar epithelium of the cervix, which is then replaced by squamous epithelium, thereby curing cervical erosion. Conization is the process of using a knife to cut off part of the cervical surface and endocervical canal tissue. It causes more damage, but the removed tissue can be sent for pathological biopsy to determine whether there is any lesion. Generally speaking, before it is confirmed that it is cervical cancer, it can be treated through cone biopsy, which has a curative effect on minor symptoms and is also very effective for the diagnosis of the disease. If it has been confirmed, the best method is total resection, which can completely cure it and avoid adverse effects. This mainly depends on the severity of the local lesion and whether the reproductive function needs to be preserved. If the lesion is mild and the fertility function needs to be preserved, cone biopsy can be performed. If the lesion is severe and there is no requirement to have children, it is best to do a complete resection, which is cleaner and more thorough. |
