Is it normal to have back pain a few days before menstruation?

Menstruation is a normal physiological phenomenon in adulthood, but many women will also suffer from some troubles during this period. First of all, they will experience low back pain. Low back pain is caused by the accumulation of blood around the pelvic cavity, which will cause pelvic congestion and cause low back pain. This will make people very difficult to accept and even feel painful. Therefore, you can choose some methods to alleviate this problem well, and at the same time avoid some residual complications.

Many women have experienced abdominal pain, back pain, etc. before and after menstruation, which is what we usually call dysmenorrhea. There are two main causes of dysmenorrhea: dysmenorrhea is caused by excessive synthesis of prostaglandins in the endometrium, which leads to strong contraction of the uterus; and dysmenorrhea is caused by other organic diseases in women.

What is the cause of back pain before menstruation? Experts point out that the common clinical causes are:

1. Pelvic inflammatory disease: Generally speaking, patients with chronic adnexitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, pelvic connective tissue inflammation and other diseases may suffer from symptoms such as low back pain due to the stimulation of inflammation. Therefore, if the primary disease is cured, the symptoms of low back pain can be alleviated or eliminated.

2. Relaxation of sacrospinal ligament: After a woman becomes pregnant, as the fetus gradually grows, the support force required for the pregnant woman's waist will increase; therefore, the sacrospinal ligament may become loose, causing compression of the pelvic nerves and blood vessels and causing low back pain. Generally, the symptoms of low back pain will gradually disappear after the waist muscle strength is restored after childbirth.

3. Abnormal position of the uterus: If a woman's uterus is tilted forward, retroflexed, or prolapsed, it may cause low back pain. If this is the cause, then the symptoms can only be relieved by correcting uterine prolapse and changing body position.

When women are menstruating, they should stay in a good mood and not be affected by mental stimulation and emotional fluctuations. At the same time, pay attention to arranging your work and rest time reasonably and combining work and rest. Pay attention to a healthy diet. Avoid eating raw, cold, spicy, alcoholic or other irritating foods during menstruation. The disease needs to be diagnosed through examination and combined with clinical symptoms. Please follow the doctor's diagnosis for treatment.
