What are the symptoms of uterine myopathy?

Many people must be very unfamiliar with the disease of uterine myopathy. In fact, this disease is a gynecological disease of women. It is a condition in which the female uterus is diseased. Patients with severe uterine myopathy may even suffer from infertility. Because this disease is relatively rare, many people do not know what the symptoms of this disease are. So, what are the symptoms of uterine myopathy?

First, what are the symptoms of adenomyosis? The uterus of a woman with adenomyosis is larger and more spherical than that of a normal woman. The area of the endometrium increases, resulting in excessive bleeding and prolonged menstruation, accompanied by endometrial hyperplasia, which is also an important cause of excessive bleeding. Excessive bleeding can lead to anemia. This is a prominent symptom of adenomyosis.

Second, uterine adenomyosis can affect female infertility. Ectopic endometrial tissue can cause extensive pelvic adhesions, leading to obstruction of the fallopian tubes in women and causing infertility. The spasmodic contraction of the uterine smooth muscle causes dysmenorrhea, which worsens month by month. Dysmenorrhea occurs before and during each menstruation, and painkillers are required to relieve the symptoms. As the disease worsens, the relief time of painkillers is gradually shortened, and the dosage of the medicine is also increasing. Those with severe lesions may experience pain even outside of menstruation. It causes serious physical and mental harm to women.

What are the symptoms of uterine myopathy? Secondary dysmenorrhea occurs in older women, that is, when they are nearly 40 years old. The dysmenorrhea gradually worsens and is often spasmodic, making it impossible to carry out daily work. Dysmenorrhea is caused by edema and bleeding of the ectopic endometrium during menstruation, which stimulates the spasmodic contraction of the muscle wall. The menstrual volume increases, the menstrual period is prolonged, and a few may have spotting before and after menstruation. This is because the size of the uterus increases, the area of the endometrium in the uterine cavity increases, and the ectopic endometrium between the uterine muscle walls affects the contraction of uterine muscle fibers.
