Symptoms of cervical erosion

Symptoms of cervical erosion

With the accelerated pace of life, the work and life pressure of many female friends has also increased. Unreasonable work and rest routines and bad living habits have increased the probability of women suffering from gynecological diseases. Cervical erosion is a relatively common one. When this disease is severe, it may even affect fertility. Many women do not correctly understand the harm of this disease to the body, so we must take timely prevention of this disease. Let us take a look at the symptoms after the disease.

Symptoms of cervical erosion

1. Combat bleeding

This is also a common early symptom of cervical apoptosis. About 70%-80% of patients with cervical cancer experience vaginal bleeding. It usually means that the vaginal discharge is mixed with blood after sex, during a gynecological examination, or when straining to defecate.

2. Discomfort

The main manifestations are some uncomfortable symptoms after intercourse, such as dull pain.

3. Increased leucorrhea

Increased leucorrhea is mainly caused by abnormal stimulation of the cervical glands. The early signs are clear watery discharge, or odor, or increased serous leucorrhea, but it is often ignored.

4. Irregular vaginal bleeding

For example, an elderly woman who has been in menopause for many years may suddenly have her period again for no apparent reason. Light menstrual flow is often accompanied by abdominal pain, back pain and other symptoms, which can easily be ignored. In fact, this irregular vaginal bleeding is often a sign of early symptoms of cervical erosion.

Treatment of cervical erosion

1. Drug treatment

It is suitable for patients with smaller erosion area and shallower inflammatory infiltration. Antibiotics can be used for local application, such as metronidazole, sulfonamides, furazolidone, etc. Traditional Chinese medicine is widely used in the clinical treatment of cervical erosion, and the effect is also good. Some proven prescriptions and formulas are often selected, processed into powders or suppositories, placed on cotton balls, and applied to the eroded surface.

2. Physical therapy

It is a widely used treatment method at present, with the advantages of short treatment course and good efficacy. It is suitable for patients with larger erosion area and deeper inflammatory infiltration. Commonly used methods include electric ironing, laser therapy, and cryotherapy.

3. Traditional surgical treatment

If the above treatments are ineffective, or if there is cervical hypertrophy, or the erosion is deep and extensive, and involves the cervical canal, traditional surgical treatments such as total hysterectomy may be considered. However, surgical treatment is rarely used nowadays.

4. High-frequency LEEP

The tissue specimen is complete and is not prone to the phenomenon of tissue elongation and carbonization that occurs during traditional electrosurgical cutting. A complete tissue specimen can be obtained that does not affect pathological examination.

5. BBT ablation

BBT ablation for the treatment of cervical erosion is a very delicate operation. It not only does not damage the surrounding tissues, but also is painless during the treatment and leaves no scars after the operation. It can also better avoid complications such as bleeding or infection, and has the advantage of not affecting fertility after the operation.

Nursing of cervical erosion

1. Pay attention to health care during key periods, because many women are very susceptible to this disease, so you must pay attention to health care, especially during menstruation, pregnancy and postpartum period.

2. Keep the vulva clean. It is very necessary to keep the vulva clean, and you should go to the hospital for regular check-ups to achieve early detection and early treatment, and avoid unclean sex.

3. Eat a light diet, eat more fruits, vegetables and light food, and make sure to get enough rest.

4. Surgical treatment can be used if necessary. Depending on the condition, surgical treatment can be used if necessary.
