What causes pain under the nipple?

Breasts are one of the most important organs for women and are also an essential tool for showing off one's figure. In modern society, there are very high requirements for women's breasts. Not only must they be plump, but they must also have a very good shape and cannot be "droopy". For young women, sometimes they may feel breast pain for various reasons, which in turn affects the nipples. So, what causes pain under the nipple?

1. Generally speaking, if there is sudden, persistent, and severe pain in the breast accompanied by obvious tenderness, it is considered to be various acute infectious diseases in the breast. If there is local throbbing pain, it may be that the local area has become suppurative.

2. If the breast pain is paroxysmal, and often starts before menstruation or worsens before menstruation, and can be relieved or disappear after menstruation, the pain is distending or stabbing, and sometimes involves the armpit or shoulder and back on the same side, and there is mild to moderate tenderness locally, then it is considered to be a proliferative lesion.

3. If the nipples are severely painful, broken or cracked during breastfeeding, it may be caused by the baby sucking and biting the nipples, resulting in nipple fissures.

4. If the breast pain is only mild dull pain or a dull pain, the onset has no obvious regularity, and is only sporadic or paroxysmal, and some are persistent, it is often ignored because the pain is not obvious. It should be noted that such breast pain may also be a signal of early breast malignant disease and should be given sufficient attention. Sometimes, there is no obvious pain in the breast, but only pain in one armpit or shoulder and back, which may also be a malignant lesion. These subtle changes should not be easily ignored.

5. If there is severe, persistent, burning pain in the breast that progressively worsens and is difficult to relieve on its own, and is accompanied by ulceration and necrosis of the local mass or ulceration of the surgical wound and surrounding skin, it is breast pain in the late stage of malignant disease. At this time, because the symptoms and signs of other malignant diseases are already very clear, it is not difficult to find the cause of the pain.

However, I suggest you go to the hospital for a check-up to confirm your condition.
