Breast hypoechoic nodule grade 3

Breast hypoechoic nodule grade 3

Breast hypoechoic nodules indicate that there are lumps or small nodules in the breast. We should be vigilant about this type of nodule, especially for women under 40 years old. We should pay more attention to this aspect and do self-examinations on a regular basis. After all, the incidence of breast tumors has been relatively high in recent years. This has become a very dangerous disease for adult women. Let us learn about this aspect.

Breast hypoechoic nodule grade 3

There is a lump or a small nodule in the right breast, which is less than one centimeter. Such a small nodule cannot be felt by hand and it is difficult to find even after surgery. You can observe it.

The boundaries are clear and the morphological rules tend to be benign. The left breast and both axillae were normal.

However, BI-RADS level 3 indicates that one should still be cautious. It is recommended that you go to the hospital for a breast B-ultrasound check within 2 to 3 months after your menstruation is over to see if the nodule has changed or grown. If the lump grows, you can consider surgery at that time. Of course, if you feel any discomfort in your breast within these two to three months, for example, if you can feel a growing lump, you can go to the hospital at any time. Oh, and breast mammography can be done, but mammography may not be able to capture such a small nodule.

Don't be too nervous. In clinical practice, there are still many patients who are diagnosed with nodules through breast color Doppler ultrasound. Those with large nodules that can be felt by hand undergo surgery, while those with small nodules that cannot be felt are mostly just observed. But you can't be careless and have to review it.

These breast nodules need to be vigilant

Generally speaking, adult women under the age of 40 should have a breast B-ultrasound during their annual physical examination in addition to surgical palpation; after the age of 40, in addition to breast B-ultrasound, they should also have a breast mammography examination every two years depending on their individual circumstances. However, for high-risk people with a family history of breast cancer, regular check-ups should be conducted under the guidance of a specialist.

In addition, you should also do self-examination in your daily life. Director Zeng reminded that if female friends find that the nodules suddenly increase in size, are painless, have a hard texture, feel as hard as the tip of a human nose, have an irregular shape, and have poor mobility, they need to be highly vigilant, especially for women with a family history of breast cancer, as this may be related to breast cancer.
