Preparation before IVF

Having a baby is a sign of a complete family, but nowadays many parents suffer from infertility due to physical factors and other factors. In order to solve this problem, in vitro fertilization can now be used. In vitro fertilization is related to what we often call embryo transplantation. Only when it is successful will women show symptoms of pregnancy. So in order to increase the success rate of transplantation, what preparations should be made before in vitro fertilization?

The success of IVF surgery has a lot to do with whether sufficient preparation is done before the surgery, and diet is particularly important. So, what should I eat before IVF transplantation?

The IVF embryo transfer treatment generally takes 2 to 3 months, and the egg retrieval is the most important step. Therefore, taking care of every detail in the egg retrieval process can increase the success rate of IVF. So, here is what to eat before doing IVF.

1. When you start to get the injections during the cycle, eating more high-protein foods will help the follicles grow well, such as: milk, soybeans, fish, shrimp, eggs; beef, mutton, pork, and dog meat.

2. Soak your feet every day. The method is: the water temperature should be about 41-42 degrees, the water should cover the calves, and the time should be about 30 minutes. Soak until you sweat, until the night before the transplant, and also during the menstrual period.

3. Start drinking maternal milk powder one month before the transplant. Drink 4-5 red dates water every day.

4. Drink soy milk every day, it can promote the growth of endometrium.

In addition, women doing in vitro fertilization should not eat black fungus and leeks as they may cause miscarriage.

After the transplant, you cannot eat foods that promote blood circulation, such as hawthorn, almonds, and longan. Don't eat rapeseed, as it will cause the embryo to shrink. Can't eat papaya and banana. Don't eat foods that are too salty or too sweet. Avoid spicy food.

What to eat after IVF

1. Choose an easily digestible diet

After the test-tube transplant, you will need to rest and stay in bed, which will reduce your exercise. This can lead to a decrease in appetite and indigestion, so it is important to choose easily digestible foods. For example, you can drink some rice porridge, have some soup and other foods that aid digestion.

2. Avoid constipation

Because constipation is easy to occur during IVF transplantation. In order to prevent or alleviate constipation symptoms, pregnant women can eat more foods rich in dietary fiber to promote bowel movements. For example, celery, cabbage, celery, lotus root, yam, etc.

3. Avoid diarrhea

At this time, you should pay special attention to your diet and avoid eating in small restaurants that do not have hygiene guarantees. It is best to choose a clean and tidy environment to eat to prevent diarrhea.

4. Avoid eating foods that may cause allergies.

It is also easy to have allergic reactions after IVF transplantation. At this time, you should be extra careful about your diet and avoid eating foods that are likely to cause allergies, such as seafood.
