Eight months pregnant lower body pain

Eight months pregnant lower body pain

Although pregnant women will have pregnancy reactions in the early stages of pregnancy, the body will not be more painful than in the late stages of pregnancy. Because by the eighth month, the belly has begun to slowly grow, and the urethra will feel swollen and painful, and the uterus will also sag. Therefore, if swelling and pain in the lower body occur in the eighth month, you need to go to the hospital for examination in advance.

Abdominal pain during pregnancy

It is common for pregnant women to experience abdominal pain in the sixth month of pregnancy. As the fetus continues to grow, the burden on the mother's abdomen and body gradually increases, and the number of abdominal pains will increase significantly compared to the early pregnancy. Abdominal pain in the sixth month of pregnancy can be divided into physiological abdominal pain and pathological abdominal pain. Pregnant mothers should master some basic knowledge.

Around 6 months of pregnancy, the uterus begins to enlarge and the round ligament of the uterus is stretched, causing many expectant mothers to feel some abdominal pain. As the fetus continues to grow, the burden on the expectant mother's abdomen and whole body gradually increases. When the expectant mother is 6 months pregnant, the abdominal pain will increase compared to the early pregnancy.

If you experience abdominal pain and dizziness after six months of pregnancy, it is normal, but the pain should not last for a long time. Generally, the fetus will move in the mother's amniotic fluid, which may sometimes cause abdominal pain in the pregnant mother. If the pain often lasts for more than half an hour, you should go to the hospital, because there are many reasons for abdominal pain during pregnancy, and it is often difficult to distinguish whether it is abdominal pain caused by a disease or abdominal pain caused by pregnancy. Based on the location, time, and degree of pain of the abdominal pain, it is difficult to know the real cause of the abdominal pain without examination. I hope expectant mothers will pay attention to this and go to the hospital for timely check-up to rule out the possibility of pathological diseases.

1. Physiological abdominal pain

1. As the baby grows, the expectant mother's uterus also gradually expands. The enlarged uterus constantly stimulates the lower edge of the ribs, which can cause dull rib pain in expectant mothers. Generally speaking, this is physiological and does not require special treatment. Lying on the left side can help relieve pain.

2. When you are 6 months pregnant, you may experience uterine contractions. As long as they are not very frequent and severe, the impact will not be significant. They are likely to be false uterine contractions. If they are frequent and obvious, you should go to the hospital for examination and treatment to avoid the possibility of premature birth. When expectant mothers rest at night, they may sometimes experience lower abdominal pain due to false labor. The pain usually lasts only a few seconds, with intervals of several hours. It is not accompanied by a feeling of falling, and the symptoms will be relieved during the day. This is a normal reaction during pregnancy.

2. Pathological abdominal pain

1. Placental abruption: It often occurs in the late pregnancy. The expectant mother may have pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome, chronic hypertension, or abdominal trauma. Tearing pain in the lower abdomen is a typical symptom, often accompanied by vaginal bleeding. The degree of abdominal pain is affected by a combination of factors such as the size of the abruption area, the amount of blood, the internal pressure of the uterus, and whether the uterine muscle layer is damaged. In severe cases, the abdominal pain is unbearable, the abdomen becomes hard, the fetal movement disappears, and even shock may occur. Therefore, in the late stages of pregnancy, expectant mothers with high blood pressure or abdominal trauma should go to the hospital in time to prevent accidents.
