Why do I suddenly have two periods in one month?

Most people know that women have menstruation once a month, so when menstruation comes again a few days after it ends, many people are shocked. So what is going on? What is the reason for having menstruation twice in a month? Why do you have menstruation twice?

Why do I suddenly have two periods in one month?

There is a chronic period between two menstrual periods, called the ovulation period, during which bleeding will occur. This is the phenomenon of seeing "menstruation" outside of menstruation that causes headaches for many female friends. This phenomenon is called "ovulation bleeding" in medicine.

Ovulation bleeding is a normal phenomenon. It is caused by the rupture of the follicle and a sudden decrease in estrogen, which causes breakthrough bleeding of the uterine wall. Generally, the bleeding time is within 3-5 days and then stops on its own. If it happens once in a while, you don't need to do anything, but if you habitually have two periods in a month, you need to go to the hospital for diagnosis in time.

If a woman has two menstrual periods a month, she may think that her menstrual period is abnormal, which may be caused by abnormal uterine bleeding or irregular bleeding.

Menstruation occurs twice a month. If the second time is confirmed to be ovulation bleeding, this situation does not affect health and fertility, so no treatment is needed. On the contrary, if you suspect that this is a big problem and are worried, it will cause an imbalance in the function of the cerebral cortex and affect your menstrual cycle and even your physical and mental health.

Why do I have two periods?

1. Stress: If women of childbearing age are under stress for a long time, the function of the hypothalamus and pituitary gland will be inhibited, so that the uterus and ovaries will no longer secrete estrogen and ovulate, and the menstrual period will begin to be disrupted. Similarly, long-term depression, anger or bad mentality will also affect the menstrual period.

2. Eating hot and cold food: If you catch a cold during your menstrual period, the blood vessels in your pelvis will constrict, causing ovarian disorder, which can lead to too little menstrual flow or even amenorrhea.

3. Radio waves: Various electrical appliances and electronic products will generate different radio waves during the use process. The long-term effect of these radio waves on people will have adverse effects on women's endocrine and reproductive functions, causing endocrine disorders and menstrual disorders.

4. Constipation: Constipation may cause menstrual disorders. When the duodenum is filled with excessive stool, the cervix will be moved forward and the uterine body will tilt backward. If the uterus retroverts repeatedly over a long period of time, the veins in the broad tendon will be stressed and blocked, the endometrium will develop hematoma and lose its elasticity. If the uterus is kept in a forward tilted position for a long time, low back pain and menstrual disorders will occur.

5. Abuse of drugs: Abuse or frequent use of large amounts of antibiotics can cause menstrual disorders, anovulation, and amenorrhea for women. This may be because the drugs suppress and damage a person's own resistance, causing body function problems.
