How to accurately determine the ovulation day

Nowadays, the menstrual periods of many women are not very accurate, so the ovulation day is not particularly easy to measure. The reasons are also bad living habits, staying up late, eating habits, etc., so we should first improve these two aspects. Secondly, we can calculate it based on the women’s menstrual cycle. You can measure the body temperature when you wake up every morning, and you can also measure it by observing the vaginal secretions.

Generally speaking, the body temperature is lower in the first half of menstruation, even lower during the ovulation period, and gradually rises after ovulation. It is recommended to measure body temperature immediately after waking up every morning and record it on a special form. Generally speaking, the body temperature is lower in the first half of menstruation, even lower during the ovulation period, and gradually rises after ovulation.

A woman's ovulation day can be roughly calculated based on her menstrual cycle, but sometimes the results may not be accurate. If you want to get more accurate data, you can also use the following method to test, which is especially suitable for women with irregular menstrual cycles.

Every morning after waking up and before getting up to move around, measure your body temperature for 3 minutes and record the measurement data in a timely manner. Women's basal body temperature is very regular, just like their menstrual cycle. A woman's body temperature usually rises by 0.3℃-0.5℃ from the day of ovulation to the next menstrual period. The basal body temperature of a normally ovulating woman lasts for about two weeks from the first day of menstruation to the day of ovulation, and the high temperature period also lasts for two weeks.

This phenomenon of body temperature being low at first and high at the end indicates that the ovulation function of the ovaries is normal. Ovulation usually occurs before the body temperature rises or during the process of rising body temperature. Female vaginal secretions generally come from cervical mucus. The secretions will gradually increase before ovulation and become thinner and translucent. During ovulation, the amount of mucus is the largest, and it is stringy and looks like smooth egg white.

During ovulation, the phenomenon of large amounts of mucus secretion will last for 2-3 days. After ovulation, the changes in progesterone prevent the secretion of mucus, and thus vaginal secretions begin to decrease.
