Leucorrhea is red but not like blood

Leucorrhea is a substance that every woman secretes normally on a daily basis, but in fact the state of leucorrhea can also reflect a person's health condition. Normal leucorrhea is relatively clear and transparent, but if the leucorrhea is found to be turbid or even red but does not contain blood, this may mean that there is something wrong with the girl's body. Everyone must find the cause of the disease as early as possible and receive timely treatment.

If some young female patients have abnormal physical problems, they need to pay attention to timely examinations and treatments to ensure their safety and avoid dangerous situations caused by problems with the female body, which will be detrimental to the patient's recovery.

1. This is menstrual disorder during adolescence. The cause of irregular menstruation during adolescence is generally due to incomplete development of ovarian function. At the time of menarche, the ovaries weigh only 40% of their mature weight. The ovaries continue to develop and grow. Due to the unstable function and regulation of the ovaries, menstruation becomes irregular and occurs irregularly every month six months to one year after the menarche. Some women have their second menstruation after several months, half a year or even a year. This is not a pathological phenomenon and they will have their menstruation on time every month in the future.

2. There are two main reasons for red vaginal discharge: physiological and disease-related.

Physiological

Generally speaking, some women will experience ovulation bleeding during their ovulation period, also known as mid-menstrual bleeding, which refers to the minimum bleeding between two normal menstrual periods, which may be accompanied by varying degrees of lower abdominal pain. These are all physiological causes of leucorrhea.

Disease

However, the cause of blood-red leucorrhea may be cervical polyps, acute vaginitis, severe cervical erosion, submucous uterine fibroids, cervical cancer and other gynecological diseases. In addition, sometimes due to the placement of an intrauterine device, there is some blood in the leucorrhea. Once blood is found in the leucorrhea, especially after sexual intercourse, you should be alert to the possibility of malignant tumors in the genitals. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and targeted treatment.
