The rash is multiple, collective, granular, white or light red, like fish eggs, with a smooth surface and a granular feel. Some are also filamentous, nipple-shaped or polyp-shaped. Most patients do not feel uncomfortable, and some feel local itching. Pseudo-condyloma patients usually have an increase in leucorrhea, which is white or colorless and transparent, and generally has no obvious odor. In order to distinguish it from genital warts, 5% acetic acid can be applied to the rash site. If it does not turn white, it is pseudo-condyloma, otherwise, it is genital warts. In addition, papillomavirus antigen test can be performed, and pseudo-condyloma patients are all negative. The cause of pseudocondyloma is still unclear. Some people think it is a physiological variation or related to the presence of Candida in the vulva and vagina. Others think that pseudocondyloma is caused by the proliferation of chronic diseases, which may be the result of long-term stimulation of vaginal secretions.2 Labia acne caused by condyloma acuminatum Genital warts are a sexually transmitted disease that often occurs in the labia majora and minora, clitoris, and cervix of female patients. The disease has a certain incubation period and can remain dormant in the patient's body for weeks or even months. Once genital warts occur, they may appear as fused cauliflower-like growths with papillary structures.
The symptoms of pseudo-condyloma acuminatum and genital warts are extremely similar, but pseudo-condyloma acuminatum is not contagious, and its damage is smaller than that of genital warts. After the onset of the disease, the inner side of the labia majora and minora will appear light red and smooth. |
