3. Caused by surgery

Menstruation after surgical or medical abortion is determined by the degree of recovery of the endometrial wall, which is a major reason for delayed menstruation. The timing of menstruation after abortion will vary depending on the number of days of pregnancy and individual physical condition. Generally speaking, the second menstrual cycle will follow after an early abortion.
