Colposcopic biopsy

Colposcopic biopsy

Colposcopic biopsy is a gynecological endoscope. The main effect of this examination is that it can enlarge and reduce the image through color dynamic images. After special processing, the changes and dynamics in the uterine cavity can be checked. This is also the most intuitive way to check what stage the female body is currently in.

Basic Overview

The colposcope is one of the gynecological endoscopes. It was invented by German scholar Hans Hinselman in 1925. After more than half a century of development, the colposcope has been widely used in the diagnosis of lower reproductive tract diseases, especially in the diagnosis of lower reproductive tract precancerous lesions and early cancers. Colposcopy is the use of a colposcope to magnify the mucous membranes of the cervix, vagina, and vulva to a certain multiple, and observe changes in the epithelium and blood vessels that are invisible to the naked eye under the illumination of a light source.

Features

True color dynamic image display, dynamic image zoom in, zoom out, focus far, focus near, and image processing.

Dynamically collect images, measure and annotate images with text information, store patient information and image information, print color integrated graphic report sheets, perform medical record query and statistics, compare and observe images, and have white and green light sources and hysteroscopic imaging analysis system.

It has the function of hysteroscopic imaging analysis system and can process hysteroscopic images.

Editable medical papers with images to facilitate teaching and academic exchanges.

With a large inventory of expert diagnostic terms and a wealth of diagnostic templates, it can quickly generate standardized diagnostic reports.

Fluorescence images can be collected, and white light images and fluorescence images can be compared and displayed on the same screen to facilitate diagnosis.

It can record for a long time, store in large capacity, and print fluorescent images.

Various enhancement processes can be performed on fluorescence images to improve the diagnostic level.

Classification

1. Classification by function

(1) Diagnostic colposcope is also called standard colposcope: This colposcope is only suitable for examination and does not have special energy matching for colposcopic surgery.

(2) Diagnostic and therapeutic colposcope: This type of colposcope combines a common colposcope with a special energy source, such as a laser-combined colposcope. This colposcope can be used for local laser surgery while performing a colposcopy examination.

2. Classification by imaging system

(1) Optical colposcope: refers to a colposcope that forms an image through an optical lens system.

(2) Electronic colposcope: refers to a colposcope that converts optical information into digital information imaging through CCD.
