Pregnant women can make their bodies healthier through health care, but many pregnant women do not know what health care they should do during pregnancy. Here is some information about pregnancy care.

1. The clothes worn by pregnant women should be loose, simple in style and suitable for warm weather.

2. Pregnant women need to increase their nutrition. Their diet should be balanced, diversified, easy to digest, rich in protein and vitamins. They should drink plenty of water and choose vegetables and fruits rich in cellulose and pectin, such as celery, leeks, apples, pears, etc., to facilitate bowel movements. In the second half of pregnancy, the ideal diet is 8 liang to 1 jin of grain per day, 2-4 liang of meat and fish, 1 jin of vegetables (multiple varieties), 2-3 eggs or 2-3 liang of soy products, half a liang of vegetable oil, half a pound of milk, 1-2 fruits, and black fungus, seaweed, and kelp once a week. In addition, you need to supplement some iron, calcium and vitamin D to be on the safe side.

3. Pregnant women need adequate sleep and proper rest. Sleep at least 8 hours at night, and it is best to take a short rest at noon. It is better to lie on your side. The pregnant uterus often rotates to the right. Lying on your left side can correct its right rotation and improve the blood circulation of the uterus and placenta, thereby increasing the blood supply to the fetus.

4. After pregnancy, you should avoid heavy physical labor. You can do some daily housework, but be careful to avoid impact on the abdomen and do not lift heavy objects.

5. During pregnancy, the secretion of sweat glands and sebaceous glands increases, and vaginal secretions also increase. Therefore, you should take a bath frequently, wash your vulva frequently, change your underwear frequently, and keep your body surface clean.

6. Sexual intercourse should be avoided as much as possible during pregnancy. Sexual intercourse in early pregnancy can cause pelvic congestion, stimulate uterine contractions and lead to miscarriage. Sexual intercourse in late pregnancy may cause premature birth and bring bacteria into the vagina and ascend to the uterine cavity, leading to antenatal, intrapartum or postpartum infection.

7. Pay attention to health care during pregnancy to prevent various diseases. In particular, it is necessary to prevent infections from viruses such as influenza, rubella, herpes zoster, and herpes simplex, which are most harmful to the fetus and can invade the fetus through the placenta, causing fetal growth retardation, intellectual disability, various deformities, and even miscarriage and stillbirth. Therefore, it is very important to prevent diseases and viral infections during pregnancy.

8. Pregnant women must be cautious when taking medications during pregnancy, especially in the first three months, which is an important period for the development and formation of fetal organs. The fetus is particularly sensitive to drugs at this time.
