Why are the labia minora white?

Therefore, they are very busy and often neglect their health. They don’t take some minor physical problems seriously. In fact, women still need to pay attention to gynecological diseases. Let’s take a look at what is going on with the white labia minora?

Treatment:

Currently, most people advocate the use of non-surgical treatment to control local itching and restore the normal morphology of the vulvar skin. Drug treatment can achieve satisfactory results. However, follow-up should still be performed after treatment to prevent cancer.

1. General treatment: Always keep the vulva skin clean and dry, do not use soap or other irritating drugs to scrub, avoid scratching with hands or instruments, and do not eat spicy food. Wear loose clothes and avoid wearing non-breathable synthetic fiber underwear to prevent moisture and heat accumulation and aggravation of the disease.

2. Oral medications: Supplement multiple vitamins, regulate body functions, and improve local nutrition. People who suffer from insomnia due to obvious mental tension and itching symptoms can take sedatives, hypnotic and desensitization drugs orally.

3. Topical medication: Topical application of antipruritic agents. For patients with lichen sclerosus malnutrition, 10% to 20% cod liver oil ointment or 1% to 2% testosterone propionate ointment can be used, applied 3 to 4 times a day until the skin softens, adhesions are loosened and itching is relieved. For chronic localized lichen planus, 5% to 10% salicylic acid ointment can be applied externally; for those with thickened skin, 0.1% retinoic acid ointment can be used.

4. Laser Carbon dioxide laser or helium-neon laser treatment of lichen sclerosus has a good effect in relieving itching and reducing secretions, and can reduce skin keratinization, improve blood perfusion, and restore tissue to normal. The disadvantage is that it is prone to recurrence.

5. Surgical treatment If vulvar atrophy is severe and drug treatment is ineffective, surgical treatment can be considered. If the vulvar leukoplakia lesions are grade II to III, for the sake of safety, surgical treatment can be considered, with simple vulvectomy, specimens sent for pathological examination, and postoperative follow-up. If malignant transformation has already occurred, it should be treated as vulvar cancer.

The above article explains to us in detail some treatment methods for whitening of the vaginal opening. The main thing is to pay attention to your daily hygiene. If you do not pay attention to hygiene, then the drug treatment will have no effect. The underwear should also be washed separately.
