What causes gigantic breast disease?

Perhaps the enlargement of breasts during the development of second puberty in women is important. It is not unfamiliar to female friends, and it is also a very common normal situation, but some occur in abnormal situations or under pathological conditions. Having gigantic breasts can cause a lot of headaches. It will also cause certain damage and harm to our body, so let us understand how gigantic breast disease is caused.

Gigantomastia, also known as breast hypertrophy, large breasts or giant breasts, refers to the excessive development of female breasts, including excessive proliferation of glandular and adipose connective tissue, abnormal size, and obvious disharmony with the body. Chest pressure, chronic mastitis, pain, soreness and heaviness in the shoulders, and erosion of the skin under the breasts may occur. Gigantic breast disease is more common in adolescent girls or young women, often occurring on both sides, and occasionally limited to one side. Excessive breast enlargement is caused by the abnormal sensitivity of glandular and fatty connective tissue to estrogen.

The dangers of gigantic breast disease:

1. Causes sweat not to evaporate and causes eczema

The skin under the sagging breasts and the inframammary folds is often damp and uncomfortable because sweat cannot evaporate, and may even cause eczema.

2. Cause mental stress for women

Mentally, such patients, especially unmarried young women, often have unspeakable worries and pains. They worry that others will say she is not chaste or not a virgin. Shyness prevents them from attending dances, swimming, and physical exercise. In order to relieve their pain, breast reduction surgery can be considered for most patients.

3. Cause fatigue and inconvenience

Young women with giant gynaecomastia often suffer both physical and mental pain. In terms of the body, large sagging breasts that often hang on the chest can cause patients to have neck and back pain; they can pull the shoulders and upper arms forward, forming a hunched posture, and can also make patients have difficulty in movement and easily fatigued in daily life.
