What causes hip pain in women

Because a woman's hip bones will be stretched during pregnancy, the hip bones will increase during this period, so pregnant women will feel hip pain, which is unavoidable. Women feel more hip pain than men. It may be due to necrosis, injury or fatigue of the hip joint itself, or it may be due to the growth of the hip during pregnancy. Different ages have different reasons. But in general, it is caused by arthritis or gynecological diseases.

First tendon strain. A history of acute injury may result in local swelling, tenderness, and ecchymosis, which can be confirmed by ultrasound or MRI.

Second, the possibility of anterior superior iliac spine avulsion fracture or femoral capital epiphysis displacement should be ruled out. It can be confirmed by X-ray. The third is caused by excessive exercise. There is local tenderness, and the pain worsens with increased exercise.

Fourth arthritis: It is characterized by pain during activity, which gradually worsens. Decreased joint mobility, especially internal rotation. X-rays show narrowing of the joint space and the formation of osteophytes. If joint inflammation occurs in young people, it is necessary to consider whether there are inflammatory factors such as infectious arthritis, reactive arthritis or other systemic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.

5. Tendon ending inflammation: caused by rheumatic diseases affecting the tendons. Mostly located at the end of tendons. Tendons in other parts may be affected at the same time.

6. Femoral neck fracture: caused by excessive exercise, trauma, bone abnormalities, etc., pain is felt during internal rotation. Fatigue fractures may appear normal on X-rays, and nuclear scanning or MRI is required for a definitive diagnosis.

Osteitis pubis VII: Pain in the middle of the pubic bone radiating to the hip joint. There is direct tenderness locally.

8. Ilioinguinal nerve entrapment: The pain is similar to that of sports hernia, but there is also atrophy and spasm of the adductor muscles. This can be confirmed by electromyography.

Ninth sports hernia: manifested by chronic groin pain. Increased weight during exercise. There may be tenderness over the upper inguinal ring. Labrum 10 disease: There is a history of injury, manifesting as chronic deep intra-articular pain. "Interlocking" can occur when walking. During physical examination, the rotational grinding test can induce pain. MRI angiography can improve the accuracy of diagnosis, and diagnostic intra-articular local anesthesia can also be used to confirm the diagnosis.
