A lot of white mucus flows out of the vagina, which feels very uncomfortable. At the same time, female patients may also have other symptoms, such as pain in the lower abdomen, and the mucus may have some bad smell. In any case, this proves that there is a problem with personal health. Usually, the reasons that cause women to experience this symptom are the following. Why is there so much white transparent mucus flowing out? It is leucorrhea, that is, vaginal discharge, which is a mixture of vaginal mucosal exudate, cervical glands and endometrial gland secretions, and contains vaginal epithelial exfoliated cells, white blood cells and some non-pathogenic bacteria. Under normal circumstances, the quality and quantity of vaginal discharge changes with the menstrual cycle. After the menstruation is over, the vaginal discharge is small in volume, white in color, and paste-like. In the middle of the menstrual cycle when the ovaries are about to ovulate, due to the vigorous secretion of leucorrhea from the cervical glands, the amount of leucorrhea increases, becomes transparent, and slightly sticky like egg white. 2-3 days after ovulation, vaginal discharge becomes turbid, thick and less in quantity. Before and after menstruation, due to pelvic congestion, vaginal mucosal exudate increases and leucorrhea often increases. Leucorrhea is a sticky white liquid that flows out of the vagina of women. It is a mixture of secretions from the Bartholin's glands, cervical glands, endometrium, exudate from the vaginal mucosa, and desquamated vaginal epithelial cells. Leucorrhea contains lactobacillus, lysozyme and antibodies, so it has the effect of inhibiting bacterial growth. During sexual intercourse, the amount of leucorrhea will increase, which will lubricate the vagina and facilitate sexual intercourse. Generally, the amount of leucorrhea increases during the middle of the menstrual period and becomes thin and transparent; after ovulation, the leucorrhea becomes thick, turbid and less in quantity. There is an increase in leucorrhea before menstruation and during pregnancy. It seems to be the leucorrhea during ovulation. The leucorrhea during ovulation is profuse, thin and stringy. Ovulation usually occurs about 14 days before menstruation. If there is no odor or itching, pay attention to the hygiene of the vulva. If there is odor or itching, you can go to the hospital's gynecology department to check the routine of leucorrhea. Normal leucorrhea of stomach disease is transparent and has no odor. Generally, egg white and stringy leucorrhea will appear during ovulation. This is normal. Pay attention to local hygiene and eat less spicy and irritating food. |
