Causes of abnormal leucorrhea during pregnancy

1. Vaginitis

If expectant mothers have abnormal leucorrhea, it is mostly caused by vaginitis.

(1) Candidal vaginitis: It can cause women's leucorrhea to be white or yellow and thick in texture. The most obvious symptom is that women's leucorrhea is in the form of tofu dregs or curds.

(2) Trichomonas vaginitis: It will cause the female's leucorrhea to become purulent, yellow in color, and foamy. Sometimes the leucorrhea will be grayish white with a distinct odor. If not treated in time, it will be accompanied by symptoms of vulvar itching.

2. Cervical erosion

If a pregnant mother suffers from cervical erosion during pregnancy, she must actively seek treatment, otherwise it can easily lead to miscarriage. Women with cervical erosion may have yellow leucorrhea with a sticky texture and an odor, which indicates they may have chronic inflammation.

3. Endometritis, pelvic inflammatory disease

If a pregnant mother suffers from these two diseases, her vaginal discharge will not only be more than before, but also not transparent in color, but yellow in texture, thinner, and may be accompanied by abdominal pain.
