Symptoms of female vasculitis

Vasculitis is a disease that people do not pay much attention to in daily life. People know very little about this disease. Almost all of them do not discover vasculitis until the disease worsens and the body experiences serious discomfort. Discovering the illness too late will cause great difficulties in treatment. So, what are the early symptoms of vasculitis?

1. Pain: In the early stage, the soles of the feet and calves of patients will feel sore and painful, and the pain can only be relieved by walking a certain distance at a certain speed and having to rest or walk. In the middle and late stages, persistent pain occurs, especially at night, causing resting pain, often causing the patient to sit with his knees hugged.

2. The patient has chills and abnormal sensations: The main manifestations are chills and fear of cold on the affected side, and he is very sensitive to cold, especially at the finger (toe) tips. Because the nerve endings are affected by ischemia, abnormal sensations such as pain, pricking, discomfort, and burning sensation may occur on the affected side.

3. The patient's skin color changes to a certain extent: the main reason is that aortic ischemia makes the skin color appear abnormally pale. Due to the reduced support of superficial veins, the skin will appear red or dark blue on the basis of paleness, which is more obvious when the body is relaxed.

4. The patient may experience weakened or atrophic aortic pulse: As the disease progresses, the patient may experience atrophy or atrophy of the dorsalis and posterior tibial arteries, dry and cracked skin, cessation of sweating, loss of body hair, thickening and deformation of nails, and paronychia.

5. Gangrene and ulcers occur: If vasculitis is not treated promptly in the late stages, coupled with misdiagnosis, trauma, hot compresses, etc., ulcers and dry necrosis are very likely to occur.

6. Walking thrombophlebitis (red lumps): About 50% of patients have repeated walking thrombophlebitis in the superficial veins of the calves or feet before and during the disease. The main manifestations are red cord-like lumps accompanied by mild pain. After 2-3 weeks of acute onset, the symptoms disappear, and pigmentation remains after disappearance. One place heals, but another one occurs again.
