What are the symptoms of fetal movement?

What are the symptoms of fetal movement?

There is a saying among the people that "fetal qi" exists. From a medical point of view, fetal qi refers to a force that supports and ensures a safe and smooth pregnancy process. If pregnant women do not pay attention to health care during the entire pregnancy period, they may suffer from fetal movement. For example, excessive fatigue, lack of sleep, and staying up late watching TV can disrupt women's endocrine system, increase the sensitivity of the uterus, and lead to the risk of miscarriage. For example, if you get angry or have sex in the early stages of pregnancy, it is easy to have a miscarriage.

1. The role of fetal gas

1. Ensure that the uterus is in a resting state: that is, the uterine muscles cannot contract (referred to as "uterine contractions"), otherwise it is easy to cause miscarriage or premature birth.

2. Uterine tension should not be too great: During pregnancy, the uterus (the mother’s belly) will gradually grow as the fetus develops. But just like a balloon will "explode" if it is too big, the uterus should not be over-inflated, otherwise it will easily cause uterine contractions. Twin pregnancy, polyhydramnios, and macrosomia are all important factors that cause excessive uterine tension.

3. Ensure adequate blood flow to the uterus: Spasm and contraction of the decidual arterioles at the base of the uterus can lead to insufficient blood supply to the uterus and placental abruption, which is common in people with vascular diseases such as those experiencing pregnancy complicated by hypertension and pregnancy complicated by diabetes.

4. Ensure stable emotions during pregnancy: negative emotions may cause endocrine changes in the body, which may cause uterine contractions.

2. The manifestation of fetal movement

In the early stage of pregnancy, it is a threatened miscarriage, and in the late stage of pregnancy, it is a threatened premature birth. There will be paroxysmal abdominal pain, back pain, increased leucorrhea, and even spotting (vaginal bleeding). If fetal movement occurs, the pregnant mother will feel abdominal pain, and the baby's movements will be abnormal, too frequent, or not moving.

What should pregnant women do if they have a miscarriage?

During the observation period, you should pay attention to bed rest, eat less spicy and irritating food and cold food, and refrain from sexual intercourse. If the amount of bleeding is heavy or accompanied by abdominal pain, you need to go to the hospital for blood HCG, progesterone and B-ultrasound tests. If it is confirmed to be threatened abortion, you need to use progesterone, vitamin E and other drugs to preserve the fetus under the guidance of a doctor. If you want to avoid miscarriage, you need to control your sexual life.

How to prevent fetal movement

1. Pregnant women must communicate with their doctors before exercising and ask their doctors to help them develop a scientific exercise plan during pregnancy. You should exercise regularly, and then gradually increase the amount of exercise. Before exercising, you must do enough warm-up exercises. It is best to do some low-intensity aerobic exercises, such as walking or gentle stretching exercises, to warm up fully. The limit of exercise should be not tiring, but relaxing and comfortable. In addition, pregnant women should drink more water during exercise, but not just boiled water. It is best to supplement with some fruit juice, etc. Coke and sports drinks are not suitable for pregnant women.

2. If a pregnant woman experiences vaginal bleeding, fluid discharge, unusual pain or sudden pain, chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe or persistent headache or dizziness during exercise, she must stop exercising immediately and it is best to go to the hospital for examination right away. In addition, if you still have contractions half an hour after stopping exercise, you should not exercise anymore.
