The main indicators are pH, specific gravity, bilirubin (BIL), urobilinogen (URO), color and other indicators.

The two indicators of bilirubin and urobilinogen reflect the ability and amount of the liver to metabolize hemoglobin. Under normal circumstances, urine bilirubin is negative and urobilinogen is weakly positive. When the above indicators increase, it often indicates jaundice and the urine becomes yellow-green in color.
