Are condoms without sperm storage more comfortable?

Are condoms without sperm storage more comfortable?

Generally, condoms are designed with sperm vesicles, which is to retain the male sperm and prevent it from flowing into the female body. It is a very safe contraceptive method. However, some condoms are now designed without sperm vesicles, because some people think that the use of sperm vesicles is not very large. So, is it good to wear condoms without sperm vesicles?

Is it okay to not wear a condom to store sperm?

Condoms without sperm storage vesicles often cause the condom to break during male ejaculation due to the high sperm density and the amplitude of the man's ejaculation. Therefore, without the seminal vesicle, it is relatively less safe.

The condom seminal vesicle is a sac at the top of the condom that is used to store ejaculated male sperm. It is relatively small, but very effective. Under normal circumstances, the seminal vesicle of a condom can hold 5-15ml. In our country, standard condoms come in three sizes: large, medium and small. Small ones can generally hold around 15ml, medium ones are generally around 10 to 15ml, and new ones are generally around 5-10ml. So it depends on the model and size of the condom and cannot be generalized.

Sperm is just liquid, it will not automatically flow or expand, and the capacity of the sperm vesicle in the condom to expand is almost zero. If the sperm density is high, it will penetrate into the penis along the inner cavity of the condom. This situation will cause the condom to slip and fall off, or the semen will leak out and cause pregnancy, so it is very important to choose a condom that suits you.

Is long-term use of condoms harmful?

Scientific research has shown that women who frequently use condoms for contraception, regardless of the brand, are more likely to develop vaginitis and cervicitis, which is also an objective reality. Compared with other contraceptive measures such as taking birth control pills, women are more likely to develop gynecological inflammation after using condoms.

Although regular use of condoms can protect against bacteria, in order to achieve the lubricating effect, a lot of vegetable oils are usually added to the outside of condoms, and these mineral oils themselves are not easy to dissolve. It is located in the female genitals and is not easy to clean. Certain ingredients in these lubricants can destroy the immune system in the vagina. If used twice a week, the content of mineral oil is very considerable, and condoms are often worn. These plant oils remain in the female vagina for a long time, destroying the acid-base environment in the vagina and making it easier for bacteria to grow.

Under normal circumstances, there are some aerobic bacteria and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in the vagina, which form a balance and naturally form a self-defense mechanism with nitrogen cycle. Under normal circumstances where condoms are not suitable, female secretions can expel many pathogens, but when condoms are used frequently, the degreaser on the condoms is difficult to expel, making it difficult to expel some harmful pathogens, which leads to an increase in gynecological inflammation in women using condoms.

In addition, during sexual intercourse, the condom will continuously collide and rub against the cervical opening, which will inevitably cause damage to the cervical opening. The human mucosa has the ability to repair itself, but this takes time. When condoms are used frequently, the damage to the cervix is not easy to repair. Especially after a few days it is injured again, coupled with the change of female vaginal acid and alkaline environment, bacteria multiply, over time it will lead to cervical erosion.
