How to prevent milk regurgitation during breastfeeding

Women must pay attention to their diet during breastfeeding. There are some foods that they cannot eat, such as malt, leeks, etc. These foods have the effect of reducing milk production. Sometimes breastfeeding women do not have enough milk, and eating these foods may lead to a lack of milk. When women are breastfeeding, they can drink more crucian carp soup, pig trotter soup, etc. These foods have the effect of increasing milk production. Women should pay attention to a balanced diet during breastfeeding.

1. Avoid eating malt and irritating foods during postpartum breastfeeding to help stop milk production. The diet should be rich in protein. You should eat more protein during the confinement period than usual, especially high-quality animal protein. These foods can increase appetite, prevent constipation and promote milk secretion. It is recommended that you drink more chicken soup, fish soup, pork ribs soup, crucian carp or pig's trotter soup. You can also take multivitamins orally to improve milk secretion, and use Chinese medicine to induce lactation if necessary.

2. A balanced diet and avoiding mood swings will not have an adverse effect on breastfeeding. Breastfeeding will cause the body's own losses to increase. It is recommended to pay attention to the daily consumption of high-quality protein foods such as eggs, lean meat, soy products, etc. to meet the body's own amino acids, trace elements, etc., and ensure the body's own synthesis needs. At the same time, it is important to avoid greasy, fried, high-sugar, high-salt foods, as well as chicken soup, meat broth, and bone soup, to reduce the resulting obesity problems.

3. Avoid eating foods containing malt and leeks as they can cause milk to stop flowing. Eat more protein-rich and soupy foods, such as stewed pig's trotters and eating the meat and drinking the soup, stewed crucian carp, etc. Breastfeeding is beneficial to the health of mother and baby. After each breastfeeding, the baby should be held up and patted on the back for 1-2 minutes to expel the air in the stomach to prevent vomiting.

4. Chives can reduce milk secretion. Eat more soups that promote milk secretion, such as pig's trotter and soybean soup, tofu and crucian carp soup, fenugreek and egg soup, and tongcao water. Letting the baby suck more can also increase milk production. Eat less raw, cold and spicy food as these will reduce milk secretion.
