I feel dizzy and want to vomit. Is it because I am pregnant?

When a woman becomes pregnant, she will experience many symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, cessation of menstruation, breast pain, etc. These symptoms are normal reactions to early pregnancy, but because each woman's physique is different, the degree of symptoms is also different. Women who experience dizziness and vomiting are not necessarily pregnant symptoms, so does dizziness and vomiting mean pregnancy?

First, does dizziness and nausea mean you are pregnant? Generally, in the early pregnancy period, there will be nausea, vomiting, salivation, preference for sour food, aversion to greasy food, gastrointestinal bloating accompanied by a burning sensation, fullness in the upper abdomen, constipation and other phenomena. Many pregnant women in early pregnancy often feel nauseous and vomiting, especially at the beginning of the day. These symptoms vary from person to person, and some people have very mild symptoms, while others have very severe symptoms. Unless you have severe nausea and vomiting, you don't need to see a doctor. Otherwise, these are normal phenomena in early pregnancy. Some severe cases may need to continue throughout pregnancy.

Second, after the fever caused by external infection, dizziness, nausea, spinning vision, and vomiting may occur. This is because the virus invades the inner ear and causes labyrinthine edema, leading to cochlear peripheral neuropathy: symptoms of position sense disorder in the human body. This situation affects work life. Common diseases of this type include Meniere's disease, vestibular neuronitis, labyrinthitis, etc.

Third, middle-aged and elderly people experience dizziness, nausea or vomiting, and walk unsteadily as if drunk. This is due to cerebellar lesions leading to ataxia, which is common in cerebellar infarction or hemorrhage, the most common of which is posterior inferior cerebellar artery infarction. If dizziness is accompanied by palpitations, sweating, tremors and weakness in the limbs, it may be caused by hypoglycemia, and sugar supplementation is needed to improve the condition. If the patient experiences dizziness, fatigue, and a slightly yellowish complexion every day, one should consider whether he or she has anemia or other systemic diseases, and should go to the hospital for a comprehensive examination.

Does dizziness and nausea mean you are pregnant? Generally, dizziness and nausea are either psychological or physiological. There are many physiological reasons. It is also possible that you are pregnant. You still need to go to the hospital for a specific examination.
