What to do if your back is affected by wind during the confinement period

The wind on the back during the confinement period has a great impact on women. If the confinement period is not properly taken care of, postpartum diseases may be left, which may cause greater harm. Therefore, women should also abide by some principles and taboos during the confinement period. Do not wear slippers, short sleeves or short ball clothes during the confinement period, try to go out less, avoid standing or sitting for long periods of time and excessive fatigue, and pay attention to nutritional supplements.

1. Pregnant women should not wear slippers, short-sleeved clothes or short skirts during the confinement period. They should wear a hat when going out in spring, autumn and winter. After sweating, they must wait indoors to dry before going out. They should not use cold water to wash their face, hands, feet or take a bath (including in summer).

2. Pregnant women should be moderate in their diet during the confinement period. They should not overeat or over-eat, and should not eat raw, cold, or spicy food. They should not eat too much food other than grains at one time, and should not go on a diet for fear of obesity.

3. Pregnant women should not engage in excessive activities during the confinement period, nor should they stand or sit for long periods of time, so as to avoid overwork and the leaving of illness.

4. Maintain a good mood, don’t be angry or irritable, be open-minded, and think less.

5. Pregnant women are prohibited from having sexual intercourse within one month after giving birth, otherwise it may endanger their lives. To be on the safe side, you can only do it after 100 days.

6. The room for the mother and baby should be clean, bright, well-ventilated, with moderate temperature and humidity.

7. Nutrition should be reasonable and balanced. Do not eat only high-protein, high-fat diets. It should be combined with vegetables, fruits, etc. To increase milk production, you should eat more liquid or semi-liquid food.

8. Pay attention to personal hygiene. During the postpartum period, you sweat a lot, so you should take a bath frequently, but avoid taking a tub bath, and change your underwear frequently. Brush your teeth and rinse your mouth after meals to prevent oral infections. Using warm water to wash your hair and take a bath will not cause postpartum diseases. Nails should be trimmed regularly to avoid scratching the baby's delicate skin.

9. There is a lot of lochia after delivery, so you should pay attention to changing sanitary napkins frequently and flush the perineum with warm water. When washing, be sure to wash from front (perineum) to back (anus) to avoid bringing bacteria from the anus into the perineal wound and vagina.

10. Do some exercise and don’t lie in bed from morning to night. You can turn over in bed the day after delivery, and rest alternately between semi-sitting and lying positions. Later, you can walk around the bed and the room, and practice postpartum gymnastics to restore your body shape as soon as possible and reduce constipation.

11. Get adequate rest. Breastfeeding mothers need to keep pace with their babies and take time to rest when their babies are resting. This can not only reduce your own fatigue, but also ensure sufficient milk.
