How to rule out ectopic pregnancy when you are just pregnant

Some people pay great attention to their body changes when they first become pregnant. If any abnormal reactions occur, they will become very anxious. In fact, in this situation, you must control your emotions. Only in this way can the fetus in your belly become healthier. If you feel unwell, you should go to the hospital for examination immediately. This can also rule out the possibility of ectopic pregnancy.

In fact, there is no method for diagnosing ectopic pregnancy that can be 100% accurate. For women of childbearing age who have a normal sexual life, who have amenorrhea for 6-10 weeks, have a positive urine pregnancy test, and have symptoms such as abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding, ectopic pregnancy should be highly suspected; if no embryonic sac is seen in the uterine cavity through vaginal B-ultrasound examination, most of them can be diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy; for some complicated cases, laparoscopy is also required for the final diagnosis.

Symptoms of ectopic pregnancy generally include:

1. Amenorrhea: Before miscarriage or rupture of tubal pregnancy, symptoms and signs are not obvious. In addition to short-term amenorrhea and pregnancy symptoms, sometimes there is bloating and pain in one side of the lower abdomen. During examination, the fallopian tubes may be normal or enlarged.

2. Vaginal bleeding: usually a small amount of bleeding.

3. Abdominal pain: pain in the lower abdomen, a feeling of defecation, sometimes severe pain, accompanied by cold sweat. When rupture occurs, the patient suddenly feels tearing pain in one side of the lower abdomen, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting.

4. Syncope and shock: Due to acute intra-abdominal bleeding, it may cause decreased blood volume and severe abdominal pain. Mild cases often experience syncope, while severe cases may experience shock.

5. Other symptoms: may include nausea, vomiting, and frequent urination. The symptoms of ectopic pregnancy are often atypical. Some patients may go into shock due to heavy bleeding, become pale, and have low blood pressure.

It can also be said that ectopic pregnancy is usually accompanied by some abnormal conditions. Women who have just become pregnant can also compare their physical conditions with the symptoms of ectopic pregnancy. If there are any matches, then they need to go to a regular hospital for examination to check whether it is an ectopic pregnancy. The earlier the examination, the earlier the prevention.

An abnormal pregnancy process in which the fertilized egg implants and develops outside the uterine cavity. Also called "ectopic pregnancy". The most common type of pregnancy is tubal pregnancy. The cause of the disease is often due to inflammation in the fallopian tube lumen or its surroundings, which causes poor patency of the lumen, hindering the normal operation of the fertilized egg, causing it to stay, implant, and develop in the fallopian tube, leading to miscarriage or rupture of the fallopian tube pregnancy. There are often no obvious symptoms before miscarriage or rupture, but there may also be amenorrhea, abdominal pain, and a small amount of vaginal bleeding. After rupture, symptoms include acute and severe abdominal pain, repeated attacks, vaginal bleeding, and even shock. Examination often shows signs of intra-abdominal bleeding and a mass next to the uterus. Ultrasound examination can assist in diagnosis. Treatment is mainly surgical. While correcting shock, laparotomy and removal of the diseased fallopian tube are performed. If you want to preserve your fertility, you can also cut the fallopian tube and remove the fertilized egg.
