Cervical erosion is a gynecological disease that many women will suffer from. Generally speaking, there are three degrees of cervical erosion. How to treat moderate cervical erosion?

Symptoms of moderate cervicitis

In order to actively treat moderate cervicitis, you must first confirm that you have the disease. If female friends understand some of the symptoms of moderate cervicitis, they can discover abnormalities in their physical condition in time and receive treatment in time.

Moderate inflammation of the cervix indicates that a woman's cervicitis is already quite serious. At this time, bloody or purulent leucorrhea may appear, and there may be some bleeding during sexual intercourse or even at ordinary times. If allowed to develop, it may also lead to infertility. If it continues to worsen, it may even cause cervical cancer.

Treatment of moderate cervicitis

First, drug treatment

Drug therapy can be divided into systemic drug therapy and local drug therapy. Systemic drug therapy is achieved through oral anti-inflammatory and bactericidal drugs, and local drug therapy is the use of drugs on the patient's cervix for treatment. The tablets can be inserted into the vagina, or the drugs can be applied directly to the cervix. Regardless of the treatment method, it needs to be persisted for a considerable period of time.

Surgery

Surgical treatment is generally not used unless it is a last resort. This treatment method involves surgically removing the inflammatory lesions to achieve the purpose of curing cervicitis.

Physical therapy

Physical therapy uses laser, microwave and electrocautery technology to eliminate local inflammation. This treatment method will leave permanent scars, so it is not recommended for women who have not completed their fertility mission.

Ways to prevent cervical erosion :

1. The squamous epithelium of the cervix has not yet matured during adolescence, and sexual intercourse can easily cause the squamous cells to fall off and cause cervicitis.

2. Avoid unclean sexual life. Unclean sexual life can easily bring in various pathogens, which can induce cervicitis and even cervical cancer.

3. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva and vagina. Infection should be prevented after delivery, miscarriage, and cervical physical therapy, and sexual intercourse should be avoided in the short term.

4. Avoid premature, excessive, and frequent births and miscarriages. Both childbirth and miscarriage can cause damage to the cervix, providing an opportunity for bacteria to invade.
