What are the dietary therapies for uterine fibroids?

Uterine fibroids are a very common gynecological disease and a benign lesion. They will not worsen in a short period of time, but their impact on patients is still significant. If the uterine fibroids are very serious, surgical treatment is required. Patients with mild symptoms can alleviate their condition through diet therapy. For example, pink eel soup, rabbit meat stew, and steamed chicken with yam and walnut kernels are good diet therapy recipes.

1. Pink eel soup

Ingredients : 12 grams of peach kernels, 6 grams of safflower, 250 grams of shredded eel.

Peach kernel : breaks up blood and removes blood stasis, moisturizes the intestines. Treat amenorrhea, myoma, blood stasis due to febrile disease, swelling and pain caused by blood stasis, and constipation due to dryness of blood.

Safflower : promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis

Eel : replenishes deficiency, relieves menstrual bleeding

Preparation method : Add peach kernel and safflower to water and boil the juice and remove the residue. After stir-frying the shredded eel in oil, add the fresh soup and the medicinal ingredients and cook them together. Add a little ginger, wine, onion, and MSG and cook it into soup. Drink the soup and eat the shredded eel.

Efficacy : Promote blood circulation, eliminate tumors, nourish the kidneys and blood. It is suitable for those suffering from uterine fibroids, menstrual blood clots, and menstrual disorder.

2. Rabbit Meat Casserole

Ingredients : 6 grams of Trillium, 5 grams of Curcuma, 15 grams of wolfberry, 30 grams of black fungus, 40 grams of shiitake mushrooms, and 250 grams of rabbit meat.

Preparation method : First, soak the black fungus and shiitake mushrooms in warm water, wash them, and remove impurities; cut the rabbit meat into pieces, put them in a pot and boil them, and remove the foam; wrap the three-edged sword and zedoaria into medicine bags with gauze; soak the wolfberry in warm water for 15 minutes. Put the medicine bag, rabbit meat, mushrooms, black fungus, cooking wine, salt, pepper, etc. into the casserole, cook over medium heat for 1 hour, remove the medicine bag, add MSG and wolfberry, and cook for another 15 minutes before serving.

Function : Nourishes the liver and kidneys, resolves blood stasis and relieves stagnation.

3. Steamed Chicken with Yam and Walnut Kernel

Preparation method : Peel 40 grams of yam and cut it into thin slices about 10 cm long. Wash 30 grams of walnut kernels. Remove the claws of a clean hen (weighing about 1500 grams), cut open its back, remove the head and neck bones (leave the skin), blanch it in boiling water, and wash away the blood. Put the chicken belly down in a soup bowl, add 50 ml rice wine, appropriate amount of fine salt, 1000 ml fresh soup, yam, walnut kernels, put 25 grams of soaked mushrooms, 25 grams of bamboo shoots, and 25 grams of ham slices on the chicken, then steam it in a steamer for about 2 hours, and take it out when the hen is tender. Serve with meals.

Yam : Strengthens the spleen;

Walnut kernels : warm and nourish the lungs and kidneys;

Shiitake mushrooms : benefit the stomach and treat anemia.
