What should pregnant women pay attention to after CT scan?

CT is a medical testing method to help doctors better locate the cause of the patient's illness. You need to fast and drink water before doing a CT scan to facilitate a better examination of your physical condition. However, CT scans also have some disadvantages. The radiation is relatively high, and the injection of medicine may cause allergic reactions in some patients. However, it is more complete than B-ultrasound and X-rays. So for pregnant women, what should they pay attention to before and after doing a CT scan?

Generally, fasting for 4 to 6 hours is required, especially for abdominal examinations.

1. Do not eat raw, cold or spicy food, do not drink alcohol, increase nutrition, and mainly eat light and nutritious foods such as fish, meat, eggs, bean products and other protein-rich foods and fresh vegetables rich in vitamins;

2. Do not have sexual intercourse within one month as it is easy to get infected. Contraceptive measures should be taken afterwards to avoid suffering again. Pregnancy should take more than six months;

3. Pay attention to the hygiene of the lower body to prevent gynecological infections;

4. Keep warm appropriately for health care. Post-abortion care cannot be separated from the efforts of medical staff. At present, this aspect is still immature in China. For women who have undergone abortions, hospitals should register them and task staff should make follow-up calls to understand the patient's recovery and medication status. However, if these have not been achieved, we still need to rely on medical staff to provide multi-faceted health education.

You can open the windows for ventilation, but one principle that must be followed is that the wind cannot blow directly at the mother. When using the air conditioner or fan, you can turn on the air conditioner or fan in the room next to the mother to keep the air fresh and refreshing. If the mother catches a cold due to the air conditioner or other cooling device being set too low, she will not only be more likely to catch a cold, but she will also be more likely to develop a chronic illness. Therefore, be careful not to let the air from the air conditioner blow directly onto the mother. The room temperature should generally be between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius. The mother should wear long-sleeved clothes and long pants, and it is best to wear a pair of thin socks. The clothes should not be too revealing.
