How to remove pregnancy spots

How to remove pregnancy spots

We all know that mothers give a lot to their children, but how much? In fact, for a mother’s children, the mother’s kindness is the most selfless, unlimited, and unrequited. During the delivery period, not only can the mother not participate in some usual activities, but her figure will also change drastically, and even many pregnancy spots will grow on her face, which is very ugly. But pregnancy spots can be removed using these methods.

Pregnancy spots are caused by endocrine changes during pregnancy, which cause pigmentation on certain parts of the skin. It will gradually reduce or disappear after delivery. Exposure to sunlight will deepen the color of pregnancy spots, so during pregnancy, you should be careful to avoid direct sunlight. You can choose skin care products that are less irritating to the skin and avoid wearing heavy makeup.

Stretch marks are formed when the abdomen, breasts, thighs and other parts of the body become significantly larger than before pregnancy, causing the skin in these areas to become thinner and the elastic fibers to break, exposing the color of the subcutaneous blood vessels. It usually occurs in the middle and late stages of pregnancy. It is a physiological change that cannot be eliminated once it occurs, but it does not harm health.

Paying attention to the following aspects will help reduce the appearance of stretch marks and spots:

Pay attention to skin care and physical exercise before pregnancy. A good foundation of skin elasticity will help to withstand the changes during pregnancy. During pregnancy, avoid gaining weight too quickly, generally not more than 10-12 kg. Starting from pregnancy, apply protective oil to areas where stretch marks may occur after bathing. When bathing, insist on alternating between cold and hot water to rinse the corresponding areas to promote local blood circulation.

You should use some special products to remove stretch marks immediately after giving birth.

What are pregnancy spots?

Some pregnant women will develop brown spots on their faces after 4 months of pregnancy. They are distributed on the bridge of the nose, cheeks, and forehead. They are in the shape of a butterfly and are called pregnancy spots. It is caused by an increase in melanocyte-stimulating hormone secretion from the pituitary gland during pregnancy. Normally, pregnancy spots will reduce on their own or even disappear within 3-6 months after delivery. Only some women with special physical conditions or special internal organ diseases may not see them disappear and need to go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment.

In order to speed up the disappearance of pregnancy spots, experts recommend some simple and easy methods:

Rinse with hot and cold water. Persistently washing the spotted areas on your face with alternating cold and hot water can promote blood circulation in the corresponding areas and accelerate the decomposition of melanin.

Diet therapy:

The most important thing to prevent and treat pregnancy spots with food is to supplement vitamins. It is very effective to eat more fruits rich in vitamin C, such as kiwi, tomato, strawberry, and dairy products rich in vitamin B6. Homemade Chinese herbal facial mask. Grind the leaves of the persimmon tree into powder, take 30 grams, and mix it thoroughly with 30 grams of white vaseline to make an external ointment. Apply to the spots before going to bed and wash off the next morning. It needs to be applied continuously for half a month to one month to be effective. Alternatively, use 2 eggs and 30 grams of Poria powder, mix the egg white with Poria powder, then add appropriate amount of water to make a paste and apply it on the face. Wash it off with clean water after 20 minutes.

Note

Exposure to sunlight will deepen pregnancy spots. Therefore, you should not wear heavy makeup during pregnancy, avoid direct sunlight, and wear a sun hat and apply sunscreen when going out. Oral vitamin medications can also be used for treatment. However, you must not take endocrine preparations such as cortisone, estrogen, etc. during pregnancy, otherwise it may affect the development of the baby.
