Can I get pregnant without ovulation?

We all know that if you have sex during a woman's ovulation period without taking appropriate safety measures, it is very easy to get pregnant. So if you have sex without ovulation, will you get pregnant? This will certainly not lead to pregnancy, because conception is the magical combination of sperm and egg followed by a series of changes that will form a fetus. So how do you calculate the ovulation period to prevent pregnancy?

How to calculate ovulation period:

1. Menstrual cycle calculation method: The calculation formula is: the first day of ovulation = the shortest menstrual cycle minus 18 days, the last day of ovulation = the longest menstrual cycle minus 11 days. The calculation method is to take the first day of menstruation as the base point and count the days backwards. For example, if a woman's menstrual cycle in the previous few months was at most 30 days and at most 28 days, then the first day of ovulation = 28 days - 18 days = 10 days, and the last day of ovulation = 30 days - 11 days = 19 days. In other words, her ovulation period is the 10th day of this menstruation, and the last day is the 19th day of this menstruation. However, women's physiological environment is easily affected by external stimuli, so a high degree of accuracy cannot be achieved.

2. Basal body temperature measurement method: Basal body temperature measurement method is the first content of the golden rule. When a woman ovulates, her body temperature will rise slightly compared to usual, and ovulation is determined based on this. At present, basal body temperature measurement is the most troublesome method to measure ovulation day and the accuracy is difficult to guarantee. Women must bring their own thermometer and basal body temperature chart, check their body temperature on time every day, and must continue to do so. Since human body temperature is easily affected by the environment, disease, emotions, etc., its trustworthiness is relatively low.

3. Ovulation pain perception method: derived from the golden rule of ovulation day. About 14 days before the menstrual cycle, women will experience mild pain on one side of the lower abdomen. Sometimes it is just a vague discomfort, but in a very small number of women, the pain is very obvious. The pain usually lasts for 1 to 2 days before disappearing. This pain is called "ovulation pain". However, this is only a phenomenon in some women and is not accurate. Some women cannot even feel any pain, so it can only be used as a reference and cannot be used to determine the ovulation day.

4. Ovulation test strip detection method: Ovulation test strip detection is a method within the golden rule to check the ovulation day. Ovulation test strips were the most widely used method for women to detect ovulation in the past. This method of detecting ovulation with ovulation test strips has many advantages. 1. Very economical. The current price of ovulation test strips is very cheap. Everyone can afford it, from an 80-year-old man to a 3-year-old child. 2. It is easy to purchase. Ovulation test strips are generally sold in major pharmacies. 3. The test method is easy to understand and can be understood by most people according to the instructions.
